 TOU Amendment 8: The Star System
The board will now have a Star System. It is the opposite of the Strike System. You may earn stars for positive actions. These include, but are not limited to:
*Reporting a violation.
*Contributing to a meaningful discussion.
*Suggesting ways to improve the board.
*Contributing to the CSC fund.
Unlike the Strikes, only the staff is allowed to see how many stars someone has. There will be a "Star List" topic in the Staff forum.
Ways that stars can be removed, and how many stars will be removed include, but are not limited to:
*SPAMming (Lose 1 or more stars)
*Indirectly/unintentionally breach TOU (lose 1 star)
*Directly/flagrantly breach TOU (lose all stars and get at least 1 strike)
You may not have strikes and stars at the same time. Gaining stars when you have strikes will simply remove the strikes. Here are the current rewards for stars:
5 stars: Moderator status (revoked if user goes to 3 stars or less)
10 stars: Consideration for administration status
