Appologies to Americans for rubbing it in, but Ffordes latest offering: The Well of Lost Plots is mow out in the UK.

Its good. It is set almost entirely in the Well, the place where books born and die. It features treachery and a birth. Death and an awards ceremony. More from the hades family.... including Acheron... and Granny Next. As well as a lot more information on the behind the scene workings of the books you read every day.

Rush out and buy it.... ok, go to amazon.co.uk and order it. One of the best bits is extra features including deleted chapters and a behind the scenes making-of feature available on the jasper fforde website using a password in the book.

BTW, do americans get the same covers as us?

rob, who has made a couple of bad book buying decisions recently, but TWoLP wasn't one of them

Re: TN-3
We heard about the award cermony when he came to the US for a book signing. *glares at Disney*

We have different covers here, for once I like them better than the UK covers. *Thinks back the Night Watch* The US cover for that is awfull! As soon as I can work the bugs out, I'm ordering it. Last we tried it kept claiming "invalid postal code". I confused many post office employees in my quest to figure that one out, and still no one knows.

hi SPF... aka seshat... I prefer that as a nick... lots of good associations, plus the hint you're a godess ;) Haven't heard from you in a little while ;)

Post(al) codes are what brits (and associated islanders) use instead of Zip codes.... they generally take the form 'two letters, two(or three) numbers, two letters' eg mine have included OX1 1DW and IM3 3DA... assuming you cannot leave the field blank, I'd suggest using an obviously faxe one like XX000XX, or try ordering it from the canadian amazon.ca (the postage may be cheaper from there, anyway)

Hehe...I nicknamed her Seshat a long time ago...I was (and am) extremely obsessed with ancient Egypt. Since I decided to be Bastet I sort of dubbed her as Seshat. It's stuck quite nicely. If anyone ever wants to im me, it's Bastet303 ^_^

I am SO jealous! I really just want to get that book *bangs head on keyboard* iweusfnklamd;kl *sigh* I should never have looked at this forum! Now I feel that need creeping up again....ahhh!

*leaves quickly*
