Survived My 1st Cyclone
Well pleased to say I survived my 1st Cyclone and I must admit I have never been this scared in my life.
The wind reached 200kms and hour and rain well it just poured down I had my own swimming pool in the yard for a while .
As for all the news stories we are not being evacuated but have been given the option that if we want to leave incase the next one hits us we can I have decided to stay as it could be weeks before I can get back in as we are totally surounded by water and the only way in or out is by plane.
They are flying food and water in too now as we can not drink the tap water and even the unleaded fuel can't be used and they only desail we have is only for emergency vechicals.
But we don't have a car anyway as ours is stuck in Karratha and as there is no road to Karratha could be another 3 or 4 weeks before we get it.
Anyway thats an update on us for now just pray we don't get hit by the next one.
