Summer GetTogether
Like last year and the year before I want to try this again. Last years didn't happen due to the amounts of people that cancelled, but put any comments/suggestions about another summer gettogether here!

I couldn't make it the last two summers but I want to go this this summer's get together for sure. I should be able to make it, I just hope that the police academy does not prevent me from going. Where is it going to be this year? Are we going to try for Branson, MO again since it's kinda in the geographical middle of the US (a place where the most of our members would be able to get to since the majority of IDF is made up of people from the US)? We could always do it in Chattanooga or Pigeon Forge, TN.
I don't believe I will be able to make it though. My grades weren't that good in December .... I'm hoping to pull them up collectively by April when my current semester is over. *But* there is still a chance that even if I take a semester off (this was purposed in December), I shant be here in North America. Which sucks. I have been studying for over three years straight and hit an emotional landmine in December.... and then family stuff reared its head in.
It would help if I had a job or something so I could even pay for the airfare to get to any of the states that were suggested so far. My Canadian passport is still valid since I used in Jan/Dec, but plane tickets do cost money .... I'm afraid of burning out again too. I don't think I'll be able to make it this year. Last year I didn't go because of employment situation and airfare as well. Since I live on the west coast driving isn't really an option considering the extra costs etc. etc. Although driving to Washington state isn't much of a stretch since I live near the border ... but I suppose a central location in the US might be the best for most people here.
That sucks thinking about it .... rather than depressing myself about this I hope the rest of you have a good get together. That is if most people here can make it.
