Steve I need some more Raptor 30v2 frame braces!!
Steve, you built some of those fine braces made out of aluminum and it worked great! In my most recent blind auto (yes, I'm cursed with blind autos where I can't see it when it's about 10 feet above the ground!) from an engine flameout at 200 feet I auto'd down and wound up on the roof of the Burlington Coat Factory in Westminster and that little frame brace was a crumpled mess as it absorbed most of the energy from the impact and this is why I need another!!
It absorbed most of the crash damage as it tipped over when it hit the roof and I was about 400 feet away laterally and couldnt see it to keep the disc straight, but nonetheless I broke the skids, bent the tail boom and bent the spindle and that was it! I credit that little gadget with saving my ship! The wood blades weren't even scratched and the dumb thing tipped over even! I was like what the hell... Wierdest damn crash landing I've ever seen! And don't ask how we got up on the roof. The roof is as high as Home Depot!
Let me know if you can make more. I will pay you for them! I would like 3 at least.
