Shipment
Shipment

Trent and Blurikin casually walk outside of a warehouse on a colony in the L5 area, out of uniform and talking to each other, making conversation to seem inconspicuous. While talking they stake out the place, looking for entrance points in windows, doors and anything else. After walking the parameter, Trent motions for Blurikin and himself to duck into an alley by the side of the warehouse. Trent keeps his voice low, “ok, here’s what we’re gonna do. The bay doors on the south side will be the most guarded, most likely where they’ll be delivering the shipment.” Blurkin nods, agreeing. Trent continues, “we’ll spilt up, you take the window on this side,” pointing at the window above a dumpster in the alley. “The front door is locked and chained, but I’m sure I can fix that with my scimitar.” Trent pats his sword. Once you get inside, find a place to hide until the truck comes with the shipment. If possible, get IDs on the perps, but don’t get yourself caught try to do so. Once the truck gets here, watch for my sign and we’ll go in for the ‘kill.’ Got it?” Blurikin shrugs, “not much to get. Window. Wait. Watch. Sign. Bust. Go Home.” Trent smiles, “ok, let’s do it then.” Once inside, Blurikin waits behind stacks of wooden boxes, watching as four men wait for their shipment of SAP. He sees no sign of Trent as he watches the men walk back and forth, one holding a briefcase, most likely the money for the SAP. He wonders if Trent had gotten in OK, not seeing him anywhere. Before he knew it, the bay doors open and an armored truck rolls in. The driver gets out of the truck, walking to the back and opening the doors to show the product to the buyer. C’mon, Trent, ya old geezer, where are ya? Blurikin then sees Trent walk casually up to the truck, the men obviously not seeing him yet. He sneaks around the truck and surprises the men, instantly knocking one out with the hilt of his scimitar. Blurikin takes that as the sign and jumps out of his hiding spot, getting a good boost from one of the boxes and kicking another of the men. The driver bolts as Trent and Blurikin take down the buyers pretty easily, cuffing the one’s knocked out and those still conscious. Both Blurikin and Trent bolt out the down sprinting after the driver of the truck. They run down the street after the criminal who almost gets hit by several cars in his escape. He bolts down an alleyway, Blurikin almost catching up with him. Trent falls back a bit, getting out of breath and not being able to keep up. “Head back, old man, I’ll get him!” Blurikin yells back to Trent, running even faster. Trent stops and catches his breath, then goes back to question the prisoners.

Blurikin chases down the driver, sweet running down his face as he runs down the alleyway. The driver looks back and sees Blurikin catching up, knowing he must do something to lose him. As he runs, the driver knocks over garbage cans to slow down Blurikin, but Blurikin easily jumps over the obstacles and finally tackles the man down to the pavement. Blurikin roughly cuffs the man and drags him back to the warehouse where Trent had just finished interrogating the buyers. “I got nothing, these guys are just some drug-running punks.” Blurikin throws the driver to the ground, “where does this stuff come from,” he says, still panting from his run. The driver shrugs, then says breathing heavy, “no clue, I’m just a driver.” Blurikin sighs, “well, where do you pick it up?” The driver tells the two all he knows, which isn’t much at all. Trent and Blurikin load the five guys, the buyers and the driver, into the armored truck and drive off to the nearest E.S.S. base.
