This doesn't seem the kind of place for a gypsy like me, but what can I say, where the spunkrats roam, Toby's home.
Name: Vicomte Samuel Tobias Hawkins. Vicomte is a French title. Everyone calls me darling... when I play Patiompkin in George Bernard Shaw's "Great Catherine", but usually it's Toby, spunkrat, hey you in my pants, the Great Cookie...
Gender: Male. What? Do you want me to prove it? My favourite chew toy of a friend Lillian Rose, she once told me I was trisexual, because I was in love with myself as well as everything else that moved, and I'm entirely different species altogether. But no, male.
Age/year group: A tiger never tells. I am where I am when I am. Should you be in the same class as I, then feel free. In your silly little linear time, you can call me 17, or 19, if that will stop your head exploding.
Position: Instructor of general instilling of mischief and playtime fun evil. Also World Domination and the Joys Of Omnipotence, and Villainism 109.
Appearance: Dark scruffy slightly curly hair. Eyes that change colour with mood. Sinewous. Tall. A bomehian half starved writer type, you might say. Scruffy kind of beard at times.
Background: Orphan from way back. Have been pretty much anything and anyone you can name. Writes horror novels in spare time. Raised among the gypsies. Every species imaginable, though favours being things like vampires if he's in the mood.
Personality: Omnipotent. Omniscient. You see, I am a writer, of course, and I am fictional. Playful. Cheeky. Never, ever ever take me seriously, or I may just have to kill you. Ahahahahahahahaha... seriously, you will die.
Skills and Likes: Cookies and cookies. Chocolate ones. Can tell people's future if they answer baked goods related questions, as well as insights into their personality. Random thrall. THRAALL!
Weaknesses and Dislikes: Weaknesses... weaknesses... uhh... well... particular women, known only to me. And my S. O. Ps., which you will never never discover. Never.
Pet(s): A small magic cygnet (you know, a baby swan) named Odette. A large maneating tiger, named Wumples. They come and go of their own accord
This sounds like a fantastic character! Only, the way yo've written him, he doesn't quite fit in here, yet, anyway.
The first thing, probably the most important, is the tense. We play in 3rd person, past tense, rather than being more creative. It'd be okay to have the profile in 1st person, but actual role play should be in 3rd person, just so that everybody is using the same thing.
Next is the pets. The cygnet is ok, the tiger is not. It's just that it's a school, and they have enough muders and maulings without pet tigers. Sorry about that.
We did already talk about the position, peobably an older student would be best.
And then the appearance, background, and personality. It's just that they're pretty short. We like at least a big paragraph for each, with definite descriptions, especially for appearance. I say esp for appearance, because it's useful for other players to have a look so that can go "... looked at his big blue eyes" or whatever they might be.
It seems like a lot, and I suppose it is, but rest assured it's a great character. I especially love the "trisexual" thing. Please please please stay!
