STORY
mY FRIEND TOLD ME THAT NIKKI WEBSTER GOT BOOED OF STAGE, SHE APPARNTLY DROPPED THE MICROPHONE ON THE GROUND AND OPENED HER MOUTH IN SUPRISE. THE MUSIC WAS STILL GOING AND SO ALL THE SMART PEOPLE IN THE CROWD BOOED HER OFF-STAGE.

LOL... So what? Ever heard, that Aqua (you probably know who they are), always made playback at their concerts, as the lead female singer could not sing without the aid of studio equipment? But still they have released some quite good songs!

Nikki Webster is one of a VERY SMALL MINORITY of popstars who CAN ACTUALLY SING !
Most artists appear on TV and even live Pop Concerts and MIME to a studio recording, because they are INCAPABLE of singing without umpteen re-takes and a few million dollars worth of equipment to enhance, strengthen and correct their pathetic voices.
Only last week on UK TV Victoria (Posh Spice) explained why she mimes at concerts, while on the other hand Nikki refused to sing when she was invited to Beijing by the Chinese government, BECAUSE they would NOT let her sing live !
Regarding her "big headed" statement about the Olympic games not starting without her.
Your statement was taken out of context.
Her interviewer had been joking with her about how it felt to be on her own before such a vast crowd. Nikki was still not used to being interviewed and I could tell that she was more nervous then, than she had been when she was performing in Stadium Australia. The interviewer "lead" the conversion, saying Nikki started the Oympics, and she just followed with that statement that you have reported, as she agreed with what had been said.
It was a nervous joke on her part, you pratt, and to take her to task over it as you have done, shows your lack of understanding and appreciation of the stressful things she has to do.

Think it over... If she can't sing, why do she refuse to do playback then?

Do you guys want a singer or a mimer ?
At Nikki's "Sing and Sign" at that shopping mall who's name I can't spell (I am not Australian, so I have difficulty with your language) in Sydney, to promote her "Strawberry Kisses" CD, the boom mike on the headset they gave her stopped working, so they had to give her a hand held mike.
WHY do you think that was ?
Because unlike 90% of so called "popstars" she was SINGING her songs and not just miming them !
So why don't you peasants just SHUT UP, and be thankful that you actually have some home grown talent, that is capable of not only taking on the best that the rest of the world has to offer, but beating them !

where she got booed off stage
it was her performance at Burwood westfields where she was booed off stage for the record
If you didn't know already nikki's number 1 hater. I was actually at burwood around that time and was at her instore. I remember her using a hand held microphone. Not at any time have i heard anyone booing nikki.
Nikki was singing live, and she was absolutly fabulous.
Just remember next time, don't embarest yourself by lieing to others because its going to come out of the grave and right back at you!!!!

I don't really care you hate nikki's guts. Atleast i'm not being bitchy about other singers. If you want to know what annoys both nikki haters, and people who like nikki is the people who pretend to be nikki and use her name to be popular. Why do you think most of us here at pissed off at the people who do that???
