Quidditch Practice
Martin walked up the dirt path, along side Emma, looking around for a suitable grass land patch, out of view from any a stray muggles. He spied a large area of grassland with a few trees and climbed onto his new Firebolt. "You ready,Emma?" He kicked of, flew high and sped towards the trees. He dived down in a large patch of trees and pulled out his wand. He quickly enchanted a small round rock to become light and perfectly round at once. He turned upwards and then dived once more this time picking up the light rock. "Do you think this will do as a Quaffle?" He asked.

Re: Quidditch Practice
Emma had kicked off right before Martin did. She spun around and flipped in a circle once or twice. She saw Martin dive down and pick up a middle sized rock. " It will do just as long as you don't chuck it at the back of my head on purpose!" She spun around him with great speed and, while her broom was going straight forward, stood up on the SilverWing 2002 and grabbed the rock out of Martin's hands. " The question is are you ready Martin?" She said as she jumped down with great agility back onto her broom.

Re: Quidditch Practice
"You know I am...." Martin replied grinning mischieviously. Chasing after Emma, Martin flew high above her and but on an extra spurt of sped in her direction. He dived down quickly until he stopped his hands in front of Emma's face. He continued going down diagonally and snatched the rock from her hands. "But I dont know if you are....." He said trailing of as he moved speedily towards the sun. "Are you?" Martin asked not really wanting an answer.

Re: Quidditch Practice
Emma scowled after Martin as he garbbed the "quaffle" back. She drove her broom upwards aiming right towards Martin. She was gaining speed, faster and faster and faster. Right before it looked like she was going to crash into him, she jerked the broom sideways, so that she was staring right at Martin. Her hair whipped wildly into her face and her eyes gleamed even more mischeviously. She grinned widely and then drove upward again, staring down at him. She dived down and snatched her hand out, grabbing the rock tightly and heaving upwards again, looked down and grinned sweetly at Martin.

Re: Quidditch Practice
Martin smiled widely back at Emma. "We dont just have to fly up her," He said speeding forward once more, but this time to the ground. He pulled out his wand once more and pointed it at several twigs on the ground as he muttered a spell he had recently learned. The twigs sprang to gether forming a small disc like object. He threw it up in the air, its underside balancing on his wand. He threw the disc up high and quickly preformed a cleaning spell. The plate landed back in his hands and he charmed some of his own chese. When they were out in the Black Forest during the holidays they were stranded with barely any food. He also made some bread, as he had no breakfast yet.

Re: Quidditch Practice
" That reminds me how of hungry I am!" Emma looked at the food and licked her lips. She flew down to Martin and set her broom in its case. She then sat down and watched him transfigure sticks into food. She put on her perfect pouty look and held out her hand like Olver Twist.

Re: Quidditch Practice
"Lets see then....I can get a fire going if you like...Its a lot colder up here than in the common room. And I think my mum gave me a few spells on cooking during the holidays...A few hags decided to steal all out meat." He continued his version of 'cooking' and produced one cheese sandwhich and one turky. "Which one do you want?" Martin asked holding out the makeshift version of a plate. "Cheese or turky?"

Re: Quidditch Practice
" Cheese please." Emma giggled knowing how stupid that sounded. She had been wondering how Martin knew all of this. She looked off the cliff into the noon sun across the mountain filled valley. This was the very place she had gone when she had had a strange feeling. That feeling was a lonely, depressed feeling that you can't just shake off. She tried though.

Re: Quidditch Practice
"Righto then," Martin took his turky sandwich of the plate and passing the plate to Emma. Feeling cold and not waiting for Emma's reply Martin he gathered some stones and larger twigs. He formed a circle with the stones and piled the twigs up neatly. When they were perfect he lit the fire quickly using his wand and a few well chosen words. The flames roared and he began thinking about his eminity with Peregrin...

Re: Quidditch Practice
Emma stared into the fire, she was reminded of Peregrin somehow. The way he was so strong and sure of himself, never slipping up and always a strong spirit. She shook her head slightly, why was she thinking positively about the boy who burned her wand and insulted her? She drew close to the fire, not noticing her hand was so close to the fire.

" Ouch!" Emma yelped as the fire licked her hand furiously, craving food. She raised up her hand which was red with the biting of fire. She whimpered slightly as she looked at her scourched hand.

Re: Quidditch Practice
"I knew I shouldn't have lit a fire..." Martin muttered. He grabbed her wrist gently and pointed his wand at her scourching hand and said, "Aquium," A large gush of water as a big as a wave erupted from the point of his wand soaking both Martin and Emma. "Wrong spell...That was to strong," he said as he neared the fire in an atempt to get dry. "Sorry about that water...Hows your hand? Has it cooled down yet?" He continued looking carefull at her wet hand. "I think it'll be okay..Not to bad."

Re: Quidditch Practice
Emma jumped slightly as the cold water hit her, and Martin, putting out the fire. She looked at her wrist, he was right, it wasn't too bad. " Thanks, it feels a whole lot better now. Doesn't burn as much." Although she said that she did feel a burning, but not physically, a burning all around her that she could not and could never explain. She had a feeling she was about the only one who knew something was coming, something but no one knew what.

Re: Quidditch Practice
"Didn't think so...I know. If we have another fly and get close to the sun we'll be warm enough...And it'll be a better way to pass the time as we dry off..." Martin made sure the fire was 100% put of and then grabbed his broom once more. He mounted it and waited for Emma to join him. Several seconds later when his patience was shorter, he shot up in the air once more the wind in his face. "Are you sure your okay?" He asked pointing the tip of his broom towards the ground, so he sped closer to Emma.

Re: Quidditch Practice
" Yeah.." Emma said, shaken out of her thinking. " Flying, that would be better, yeah...we could dry off." Emma stood up and grabbed her broom, flying up to him. Still sensing something weird about the air.

Re: Quidditch Practice
((ok..See you later))

"Are you sure your okay?" Martin could tell that there was something she was freaked about, but she wouldn't tell him. "Are you sure you dont want to go back to Hogwarts?" He asked. He knew he was being persistant but he really wanted to know what was bugging her so much.

Re: Quidditch Practice
" There's just something really weird about how the air feels. It feels like there's something that shouldn't be here." Emma said as she rose a little higher on her broom, swurving slightly about in the strange air. " You probably can't feel it, no one else seems to." Emma shook her head, and flew in a circle avoiding the feeling.

(( you can sort of guess what she's feeling....))

Re: Quidditch Practice
"No i cant feel it, maybe if I come closer to where you are," Speeding forward once more Martin felt the air, kind of tingle around him. "I can feel it now....its strange..." Not knowing how to describe it he flew harder still in Emma's direction wondering what it might be in the air...

((What is in the air?))

Re: Quidditch Practice
(( she's feeling the elves.....this is before they attacked..she can sort of feel them coming))

" Are you sure?" Emma said as she looked around. The air felt thin, and tight around her. But she could not explain why. She watched as Martin sped towards her trying to feel it. She felt as if something was watching their every move, and waiting for the right momement to strike.

Re: Quidditch Practice
"I think we should go now....I dont think theres much chance of us drying out before classes..Not unless we have the big fire in the Common Room..." In all honesty Martin was slightly creeped out at what Emma described she was feeling. Waiting for Emma to reply he flew in circles around her, being his usual impatient self.

((Couldn't think of anything to say....))

Re: Quidditch Practice
Martin dived down at super speed and landed with ease beside Emma. "Its so cold...And wet..." Martin complained. "But I suppose half of thats my own fault." He shouldered his broomstick and began walking back down the hill, along side Emma.
