Protein Powder
Darrin,

In an earlier post I asked for your take on my current choice of PP. Maybe it was missed in the mix?

I would prefer to continue use of this PP as I have two fairly new containers; however, would forego usage if you reccommended otherwise.

It is Muscle Provider by Beverly International. The following is the supplement label:

Serving Size: 1 Scoop
Servings Per Container: 45

Amount Per Serving:

Calories: 80
Calories from Fat: 10

Total Fat 1 g 2%
Saturated Fat 0.5 g 3%
Cholesterol 25 mg 8%
Sodium 70 mg 3%
Potassium 120 mg 3%
Total Carbohydrates 2 g 1%
Dietary Fibers 0 g 0%
Sugars 0 g
Protein 16 g 30%

Vitamins per Serving:
Serving Size: 21 grams
Vitamin A 0%
Vitamin C 0%
Calcium 6%
Iron 4%

Ingredients:
Protein Blend (Whey Protein Isolate, Hydrolyzed Whey Protein, Whey Protein Concentrate, Lactalbumin, Egg White), Natural and Artificial Flavors, Maltodextrin, Soy Lecithin, Malic Acid, Dipotassium Phosphate, Sucralose.

Directions:
Add 1 scoop muscle provider drink mix to 8 fl oz. water or milk. Stir of blend until smooth.

THANKS! :D

Re: Protein Powder
sound like a low rent protein powder, I think that whey concentrate is probably the main ingredient and not 3rd way down. There is a fair amount of carbs and fat per serving for a mainly whey isolate based protein. I am sure that it is OK though.

So I take it your not giving it an A. I don't want OK, I want what you reccommend as you know my goals. As for the GROW and NYW. I am finding a VERY hard time finding both. I've even checked online at Bodybuilding.com. No luck. Any suggestions?

THANKS! :D

Re: Darrin
NYW is a whey protein so replace it with a good quality whey such as ALLMAX Isoflex. Grow is a blended protein, mixture of whey and casein for example, you want a slow release protein to replace Grow.

Re: Whey-casein
Any suggestions as far as whey-casein besides GROW, as I cannot get it anywhere here? Isoflex I can find without any problem, so that is bought already.

I don't want to get another "low rent" PP, if you will :lol , so any suggestions for a whey-casein protein choice would be much appreciated. Sorry to press the issue. I just want to make sure I am doing all things right!

THANKS :D

Re: whey protien
That isnt a bad protein powder. Its far from the best quality all in all. The thing is' some of these protein powders are designed to taste great and be very marketable. The isolates with no carbs and fat are generally higher quality. I am sure it will do the trick however... for now :)
