Though only in the realm of Xbox Live.. might catch me playing Tetris worlds for right now. as i'm a cheap bastard and can't afford real games for it yet.. Later!

I thought everyone had stopped coming to Sarge's board its been so long since anyone has posted. xbox...xbox, thats a obsolete ice cream machine on steroids doomed for the dumpster LOL. Hey good to see you around, say hi to DoK and Sarge for me if you see them, it seems they took a big break (4 good?) from HL.

hmmm...ALL things QM have gone bad.. Gun and Dok are not speaking at this juncture and Gun has dropped half-life like 3rd period french. He's off playing PlanetSide. I must confess i was the horrible one who brought that game to his attention. I showed him the beta, he got hooked , now he plays it all the time. I've decided to take a break from FPS games to indulge in my un healthy obsession with console games.. I own them all, i might as well use them..

Oh well I was hoping that by now they would have that situation ironed out, its been going on now for 3 months or more. Maybe I need to come down there and bitchslap some sense into them, nah...proly wouldn't do any good. Planetside, what is that, a freebie online game or pay program, I haven't heard of it. Is it a good game to play or lame? Console games!, I heard you can go blind doing that...no, wait, thats a different obsession

Planetside is very cool if you don't mind paying .. Its like $12-$13 a month with 1 or 2 months free for new accounts.. Very good graphics, and the game play is getting better and better. But it's kinda RPG like in that you have to build your player's stats up and such.. I'm not to big on that part but the action is very cool to see several (20's-30s) fighting it out over the control of a continent. Of course the servers aren't as full as they could be. The potential is for several hundred people to fight in one area. But it's team based so that makes it a big NO for me. Though you can play as a loner, you cannot shoot too many people on your own team or you will be removed from the action untill your "grief" level lowers.. IMO Very cool to watch, and play occasionaly, but i wouldn't pay for it monthly.

I had to go and check out Planetside, you were right it does look cool. I may have to try playing to see if it's worth paying a monthly fee on top of the 50 bucks it costs for the CD. What player name does Sarge go by, and is he in a clan/squad/outfit? If I try it, I will wanna go frag his ass.
