Origanal Drummer

Well since I'm a mod now I figured I should get the borad going a little at least...

Did anyone know that John Wasn't the origanal drummer for SOAD. It was actually one of their good friends named Andy Khachaturian . Andy is now the lead singer/ songwriter for The Apex Theory. John was in another band at the time. Andy was an excellent drummer but somehow clashed with the band and what they stood for. It was as if there was always something missing. Then one night they were supposed to play a show and Andy was Ill so they had some guy they knew from another band fill in (John). He was perfect. Like the sound they were always looking for. Like the missing piece of the puzzle. he started playing with them at practice. Then soon after Andy was asked to leave and John was asked to Join. Shavo was really good friends with Andy and I think they got into or something because while he disagrees with him he still respeacts him. He doesn't really like talking about him. It's a senstive subject.

Technically Frank was their original drummer, the rest of the guys were scared of him so they threw him out early, then came andy, and then andy left then came john and the rest is history. sarah knows... right hun? I'll try and find that article that has it in there.

Yeah, the first first drummer was a big, huge tattooed guy. Everyone was so scared that he was gonna beat their asses. HAHA...Daron WAS the original guitarist. Serj and Daron were first in Soil. Everything evolved into System of a Down.
