Once Upon A Time
ONCE UPON A TIME



Once upon a time I knew

Who I was when I was with you

I knew exactly where I stood

And silly me

For some reason

I thought for good

That's where I'll always be



And now I'm hurting so

Much more than you will ever know

Because it's becoming plain to me

The love that was there before

Probably will never again be



So now the question is

Do I leave things as they are

Try to love just a little

But still wish upon that star



Do I want to be loved less than I love

Or get less than I give

For the sake of peace

With that am I willing to live



Well this is my answer

This is how I feel

I just want it all

And I want to know that it's real



Once upon a time I knew

Thought I knew where I stood with you

Now I need you to tell me again

Who am I to you....my friend
