Oh, how painful
To see all the posts disappear. Of course, EZBoard won't be refunding any money for their "service." Yeesh.
We are going to have to explore alternatives, with novel concepts such as "back-ups" and "anti-virus software." We've heard that such things are possible, despite EZBoard's lack of utilization.

What is perhaps more painful is that vistors to EzBoard-based forums are down significantly - no doubt people are very gun-shy at this point, and unlikely to recover.

Where is everybody?
Very sad to see it all gone. But where in fact is everybody? I've got no offers for a game. Thought it was summer vacations, but looks like many members are slow to come back.
But let us be upbeat, I'm sure gamers will be back. Keep it up Imp.

Well, for me it is the wrong time of the year. I am essentially traveling all of Sept and Oct. So all my games must come to an end before then, or suffer a huge slowdown during that time. Then toss in Fantasy Football and my time is just absorbed.
Come winter though, I'll be gearing back up in TGW. Don't worry yourselves about that.

I've been away for a while, though its all for the good. I thought I'd check in and see who's hanging out again. Looks kinda slow.
I've been chasing kids (oldest daughter is nearly 6, latest daughter is now 13 months, and [drumroll please] soon to be next baby will arrive in about 7 months), working a lot extra, and have gotten back together with my old D&D gang. We're slinging dice about once a month now.
Lots of fun that D&D, but since I'm doing that, I haven't much time for strategic games like E&W, TGW, A&A or my "favorite" TRTWW1950.
Don't think I don't miss the intrigue of these games - I do. Its just that reconnecting with my D&D group has been way fun, and my E&W pal (comrade Brad) is also in the D&D group. So we're staying connected.
No real progress to report on the development of TRTWW1950 alternate history scenario for E&W. It stands very firmly on a pretty well-balanced set up, but could use a little tweaking to move off of the apparent impasse situation. And, it could always use a little more playtesting, if anyone is interested.
I did have some contact with the other author of the original scenario (other than Janus), RegiaMarina. He dropped by the boards last winter I think, and we corresponded a few times. He seemed to like the work I had done, and was flattered at the work I had undertaken.
But, at this point, there isn't much interest and so the scenario has been tabled (restarting the playtesting could resume on fairly short notice since I have very detailed notes).
Well, that's all to report. Keep up the sales, Imp. I'm glad you're still doing some business - I've enjoyed your games a great deal.
Long time no see.
I'd be interested to see what you've come up with for TRT1950. Drop me and email: ninethreefive@hotmail.com
I just moved out at the start of September.
Myself and one of my co-workers are sharing an apartment right across the street from where we work. So I don't get much computer time anymore.
Most recently, I've been collecting and revising all the various scenarios I've done over the years. Progress is slow, naturally. I've spent most of my time focused on my 1941 Limited Scenario for the original A&A boardgame. I've come to (hopefully) the final version, just needs a bit more testing. If you're interested in trying it for yourself, let me know.
Crash and burn
A recent hard drive crash has cramped my style. You'd think that the manufacturers could build in some kind of warning that these things are about to happen.
