Notice of Cancellations - for all staff and students
Due to recent events and depleteing funds, the following classes and activities have been cancelled:
Bistromatics
This mathamatical subject, never too popular, has been cancelled due to its high level of theoretical content and irrelevence to the world outside retaraunts. Students are instead to attend Knitting lessons every Friday afternoon in the Library, and to use Bistromatics periods slaving in the kitchens.
History of Magic Extension 4
This subject, reserved for extreemly intelligent 7th years, was cancelled due to the fact that there aren't actually any pupils. The professor is asked to join the Bistromatics class for Knitting lessons o Friday afternoons.
Care of the Animals
This extreemly popular bludge subject has been cancelled due to the recent selling of all the animals. Now that there are no animals to care for, there is no subject. It is suggested that students attend the other bludge subject of Vaguely Magical Gardening, however I'm sure no-one will notice if you all just get stoned under the buildings instead.
Sport
All sports, with the exception of Quit It, have been cancelled. All school owned sports equiptment has been sold, however students are encouraged to use their own. Quit It teams are encouraged to buy their own equiptment and continue training for matches, as we may finally defeat those other schools in the Quit It competition, despite last years embarassing 1200-nill loss. Fingers crossed.
Breakfast
The ever-popular meal of breakfast has also been cancelled, due to budget cuts. Students may still come to the Grating Hall first thing in the morning, but there is unlikely to be food available. It is suggested that sudents eat as much as possible at dinner the night before instead.
All of the above will be re-instated as soon as funds allow. Please stay tuned for further notices regarding cancellations or re-installations.
