Noir: An Elite Vampire the Masquerade RPG
An Introduction to Our World
As the sun shines down weakly on 21st Century London, England our story begins. Tourists still flock to Big Ben, Piccadilly Circus, Soho and other areas of interest in the London area. With the terrorist attacks of 2001 on the United States of America; Great Britain its strongest ally is on high-alert from threats around the world. Buckingham Palace where you could once view the changing of the guards by bus is no longer possible as buses are no longer inside within the Queen’s realm and 10 Dowling Street is guarded by uniformed and plain-clothes M-I5 agents. They carry M-16’s and they do not play around. National, Worldwide security in fact has become a top priority, immigration is closely scrutinized, lists are made and if you are on this list one day you may just disappear. This however, is the mortals’ world it is not our world and is not of our concern.
The year is two-thousand and five and the Country’s Ruler is still Queen Elizabeth II; with Prince William slated to ascend the throne within the next ten years. However, no matter what the state of the world the old laws the laws of the familiar still apply and we live by them as we have for hundreds of years and for some millennia. There are other supernatural beings as well living parallel lives with us. These worlds can and do collide a collision that ends in a familiar’s death and those familiar who get away, either way we have this to say to those who strike against us: YOU WILL PAY!! we are seen and we are unseen, we are everywhere and we are nowhere…
People live their lives without knowing of the other world the world of the familiar all around them … some of us like the hideous Nosferatu hide in the dark and while others like the Toreador and Ventrue hide in plain sight, whatever we do know this… we are all around you. When you go to work, play, and marry you are seen without ever seeing us… for we are the ones of myths or fairy tales if you wish - we are the forsaken. We walk amongst you hidden from the light of the day walking forever eternal in the night, it is our world … the underworld. Not even the Queen herself knows of us or of our rules… this world belongs to us, the Forsaken, the Kindred if you will and many other names as well. Have you guessed yet who and what we are? Good. Entry into our world is for most not by choice…few would choose to be what we have become once they know the consequences of this choice. We live forever yes but in order to do so we must kill and often for it is our only method of survival until we die the final death. Welcome to Noir the world of darkness, the world of the kindred… the world of the Vampire. Will you hunt with us or become the hunted? This can only be answered by you
Noir is Vampire the Masquerade writing community RPG’s. Unlike many of these fly-by night boards that are up in a couple of days only to die within the next six months we intended to be here for the long haul. We expect quality writing and posting at our community and will return the same to you in our own posts. We may have more rules than most such as you account name must match your character and only one per ID. If you don’t like that or feel it is easier to play five different people off of one ID we are not for you. We are however, also a fun board to be a part of we are friendly helpful and have a wealth of information on how on White Wolf's World of Darkness, we currently accept all creatures from their creations.

Like many boards we offer graphics hosting, and design for free if needed.
REAL MEMBERS Many, many boards claim to have heavens know how many members when in reality it is one person play perhaps as many as 40 chartcters at one time... very sad yet very true. What you see is what you get with us. Perhaps we are smaller we are however REAL.
What you won't find...
DRAMA... we are drama free. Plain and simple.
