No Muse is Bad Muse
I’ve got the dreaded literary blues;
like when the Tom misplaced his cats, I’ve lost my mews.
I wonder if I’ll ever get it back?
Or if I’m doomed to doodle in the desperate black
of writing’s deepest hole, (you know the one)
where sweet creative juices die from lack of sun.
Perhaps it’s just an attitude of mind
and all I need’s a kick in the behind.

Hmm is THAT why this place has gone to sleep? Wake up! Soho had a bad case of writer's block and started an online journal. We all jumped in so it got a bit strange, however it seemed to help... Just a thought, Pete.

Hello Lizzie,
I'm not sure what you're getting at here, but I don't have the time to start a journal. I wish I did. I'm doing a job I hate, for money that (we) need and as soon as that situation ceases to persist, I'll turn my mind to something like that.
This site has wonderful potential. As far as I know, it is the only interactive poetry site that comes out of New Zealand. If there are any others, I'd really like to hear about them.
Please tell me that Robert didn't take umbrage at my crit of his last offering. I sometimes think that he may have.

Pete: Rob was not in the least offended and appreciated your crits. He hasn't been posting here simply as there has been no traffic. I think this is a very nice board and will continue to check in, but I am not a writer and therefore not much help. If you know of other poetry boards maybe you should consider inviting other poets/writers to participate. I will if you will! Wish Wed. and Soho would return.

Soho has run off into the woods for the week.... and Wednesday is soooooo busy quitting her job and getting ready to move back to the East Coast that she hasn't got the time to sleep, much less write (unless she takes up writing while she sleeps.... there's a thought)... but I expect we'll be back before long......
