The album has just dropped yesterday (Tuesday May 25th) in the USA so it may be a bit hard to find just yet[posted on a Canadian site at first].
You can check her out though on her website.
She's being compared to Ella, yes Fitzgerald, Dianna Krall, Natalie Cole.
One review says:
"she [Renee] makes Norah Jones sound like a drunken gurgling chicken".
Another:
"She [Renee] is a modern day Billie Holiday, Etta James, and countless other jazz greats all rolled into one!!"
And this girl was fourteen, yes 14, when she recorded this album [now 15].
She's a protege of our own [Canada's] David Foster.
You may recognise her as the girl from the current movie "13 Going On 30" or more likely from the CBS sitcom "Still Standing".
