Capital Olva
Population: 2,000,000
Setting: Forest, pastoral
Resources: Fabrics, spices, agriculture, exports
Tauri's people were one happy and free to do as the pleased. That was until Warmaster Donto took over the planet. Today his sucessor's sucessor, Vance rules with an iron fist equal to his both predecessors.
Tauri has always been properous, but in the years before the take over a rich aesthetis had developed. After the take over any art that survives is a tarnished version of it's former self.
The archtecture in the cities or designated living areas, as they are called now, are prime examples of the this. The rich detail looks weathered and the brilliant colors faded.
The taurians have a very uniformed look. Pale peach skin with light tan spot on their foreheads, ceecks and most of the body. Their eyes are a very bright, almost glowing, green and their hair is an nearly equally bright orange.

The reason I'm putting all this down is this afternoon I was thinking of starting a story about how Soundori goes to a far away spacepory\colony after Carlouco is behaded and I came up with a family with the above Taurian description. And then I cooked up this senario where the escaped the planet ruled by a dictator to start a new life. I guess I figuired they could kind of connect with Soundori.
What do you guys think?

Sounds good. And you won't be a bit sorry you planned it all out in advance. It will make it that much easier if you ever plan to revisit the planet.

To Moonhawke: It really only killed an afternoon, so, no real bother.
BTW, Even thought "Year of Survival" isn't moving along as fast as I said, is it moving more to your liking, now?

Very interesting, Kristi. I don't suppose the ruler is so bad that everyone on the planet is a resistance member? Like Timer in Final Fantasy 8? Also, how do they feel about interplanetary relations and the such? Or do they fear outside influence would provoke rebellion by the people? Overall, it sounds like a good society.

I had thought of making of town of resistance members. As for interplanetery relations, I imagined that the regular 'joe' type person would never meet an off worlder, but the people handling exports would. The off worlder would have to fill out some paperwork to come on Tauri.
