New Eden and the Haven System
Here ya go. The full planatary details of the Haven System
Haven Galaxy
Haven: The Sun of the Haven Galaxy. It's younger then the Sun of the Earth system. Roughtly 2.9 billion years old.
Seto : First planet of the system, it's closest to the Haven Sun. It is similar in nature to Mercury in most aspects. It as no moons or satalites.
Valkary: Second planet of the system. It is situated in roughly the same place that Venus occupies in the Sol system. Due to the amout of Solar winds, the planet surface is in constant motion. What appears to be clouds or something similar are always swirling about. It has no satalites.
Crimson : Third planet of the system. It is often refered to as the Bloody Planet due to it's deep crimson color. There have been some speculations on whether or not there can be a colony set up upon this planet. Due to the fact that it is outside of the "Life sustaining area" of the galaxy, the idea of a colony is something that is still in the theory stage. It has no satalites
Antaria: The fourth planet of the syetem. Also one of the reasons the galaxy was named "Haven." Antaria is a Life baring planet. It's gravity is lower then that of Haven or Earth. Approx. .75g (Earth and Haven both being 1.0g) When the system was first explored, Antaria was the original Colony landing site. But after exploring the world it was decided that Haven, Later named New Eden, would be the better choice. The world is covered in mostly land. There are several large bodies of water evenly scattered around the world. Otherwise Antaria is mostly forest and jungle, Very hot and humid. Life on Antaria tends to be brightly colored with jewel like tones. It has 6 moons of various sizes. An Antarian year is 300 days. (It is unknown to all but a handfull that Antaria has it's own indigious people. Master Kit Walker, XaXu and all the personal body guards to all except the Dracon Nobles are in reality Antarian. Of the Antarians, all but a few have some type of psionic gifts.)
New Eden: the fifth planet of the system. It was chosen as the alternate Colony site. While it is very Earth like in it's atmosphere and gravity, that is where the similarity ends. Haven is nearly twice the size of Earth. It has been described as a Primordial Earth. Covered in vast untouched forest. The resources of Haven have not even been taped, much less the surface been scratched. The People of Haven have blended technology with nature. The Fauna of Haven have 6 limbs instead of the 4 Earth fauna have. Haven also has two moons named Mother (the larger) and Child (the Smaller). A Haven Year is exactly 365 days.
Stürme des Winters (Storms of Winter): The sixth planet of the system and also within the Life Sustaning area, though on the outter edge. It's gravity is slightly heavier then that of Haven, 1.25g. Winter is the complete opposite of Antaria, instead of hot and humid, it is cool and dry with vast mountian ranges and steps. The 'Summers' never reach higher then 80 Degrees (at the Equator) but in the winter it can reach below -100 degrees. What Fauna that has been seen is protected from the cold by thick coats of luxourious fur and thick layers of fat below the skin. An edict by the Crown of New Eden has outlawed the hunting of Winter Animals just for the fur. Though there is a small black market that deals in the illegal sales of the furs outside of the Haven Galaxy. It has 4 moons. (The Military often uses this world as a training grounds.)
ShimmerWings: An astroid belt that also contains large pockets of gasses, thus giving it a gossamar look when seen though telescopes. This astroid belt is also mined, not only for raw ore but for those gasses, which are processed and used in many ways. (The Military uses certian gasses that are processed from the astroid belt. The first in their weapons to increase firepower, longevity of the weapon and accuracy of the weapon. The second to increase the speed and power output of the engines used in their ships. These are but a few Secrets the Military has kept from everyone. And the third is used for cloaking technology small enough to be used on the single pilot fighters. Only the developer - Z.I.V.E.U. and the Crown knows about this)
GateWay: The seventh planet of the system. It is a huge gas giant that is inhosptitble to Most life forms. The planet has 13 moons. Some of which are as large as a small planet and even has thin atmospheres that can support life. At this time, none of those life sustaning moons are occupied.
Sunder: The eight planet of the system. It is also a gas giant that is inhospitiable to most life forms. It has 9 moons, none of which can support life of any type. One Mining colony was attempted but due to the unsusally high presure and gravity, the domes kept failing. Thus the planet was named Sunder and the moons were named accordingly; Destruction, Cracker, SplitStone, Devestation, Anihilation, Death's Hammer, Death's Anvil, Death's Forge and BlackMoon.
Orion's Belt: An asteroid belt that is located where one would think a planet should be. It has been theorized that indeed, there once was a planet at this area but some catastrophic event caused it's destruction. Most of the astroids are rock, but some contain vast amounts of metals. Many mining ventures have been searching out those metals since the Haven Colony was started. All metals that are mined are sent to one of several processing plants, also located within the astroid belt, to prevent polution of any of the planets. The rocks that are left over are pulverized for use in other industries. All raw ores, both common and uncommon are processed into blocks and shipped on to forguries where they are turned into something else. 50% of the processed ore is purchased by the Crown and used in the construction of Ships. 25% is purchased by Z.I.V.E.U. for various products. The other 25% is pruchased by various other companies. (Unknown to anyone outside of the Haven System there are many small military outpost located in this astroid belt. It had been set up after the Demon Clan was defeated the fist time)
Hell's Gateway: The ninth planet of the system. It is a Red gas giant. The surface of the planet is covered in constant storms, thus giving it a hellious look. It only has 6 Moons. They are named Chaos, Demona, Lucifer, Set, Loki, and Hades which has both a mining colony as well as a Penal colony set up on it.
Einsam (lonely): This is the tenth planet of the system. It is a solitary white gas giant that has no distintive
features what so ever. It has no moons or satalites.
Vergessen (Forgotten): This is the eleventy planet of the system. It is the farthest out from the sun and is a cold dead world.
