Appearance:
Nanaki is a wolf-lion/wild cat mix from appearance alone. He has deep blood red fur and dark brown hair along parts of his face. He has some various scars from battle along his body and face and the numbers "XIII" tattooed on his right hind leg. His around his face is put into low ponytails with beads on the end on either side of his face. Nanaki's right eye has an X mark on it from a battle scar which has rendered it pretty much useless. He has large paws with bangles on each of them. One of his most defining features is that Nanaki's tail with its lion like feature at the very end has a strong never dieing flame. It does not burn him or travel up his fur. It stays in its one spot though as he ages the flame will continue to grow. Another thing about Nanaki is that although he is mainly muscle and many scars cover him his fur is very soft and quiet thick.
Clothes:
If gold brackets around each of his four legs then those would count for clothes. As well as some feathers in his hair and some piercing's.
Personality:
Nanaki is a character of his own. He is more soft spoken then most, and tends to doubt his very sanity at times though is wise and always ready to fight for what he believes to be right. Since Nanaki was ripped from his home after a long hard battle he has a little problem with trusting others right off the foot, but once he knows the person enough he'll stay by their side till the end. He is not often one to joke, Nanaki is more to stay concentrated and when this is interrupted he gets very annoyed quickly. He has fairly formal manners but is a little blunt and has a bit of a chip on his shoulder. He can be quiet persistent when he wants to find something out and tends to hold grudges with those who wrong him to much.

His main weapons are his teeth, claws, and various accessories such as the silver comb.
Special Abilities:
Nanaki is a master of magic though he mostly sticks to close combat because of how he is. He is very swift in battle and has great reflexes when hit or not. He is able to jump great distances and able to climb very well.
Strengths/Weaknesses:
Since Nanaki is closer to the ground he can't always see things above when in battle. He is more prone to injury since he uses closer combat. Though because of that he has gotten tougher and is more difficult to keep down when he's fallen. Though because of past battles Nanaki's right eye has been rendered useless because of injury.

History:
Nanaki when he was little had his home and all he loved in Cosmo Canyon destroyed by the heartless. His mother had been killed by them in the long residing battle to protect their home and his father had suddenly run off. From that Nanaki lost all his respect for his father and begun to hate him with all he was. Though in reality Seto had taken the largest heartless away from the village and died destroying it.
Alone and left with no where to go and the heartless still on his tail Nanaki left the remains of Cosmo Canyon looking for somewhere to go. The journey often turned up fruitless. Most of the towns he found where either already destroyed or under attack at the moment. Not wanting to experience the same fate as his family Nanaki just kept going. It was not till quiet some time later till he found place that had not been destroyed yet by the heartless.
There he met Ansem, the man who owned the castle –Hallow Baston- and had offered Nanaki a home with the rest of the people who’d found their way here. Soon he was introduced to Cid Highwind, an old pilot who had a group of kids under his wing. He had told the 12 year old( 36 in human years) Nanaki how he’d found the lot of them surrounded by heartless and rescued them.
In the small group of kids was Yuffie, an energetic little girl who pretty much had no idea of the suffering they where going through, she was probably only about 5 or 6 at the time. Aeris, a cute little girl who always had her pink ribbon in her hair – it was from her deceased mother- and was always smiling despite everyone else's frowns, she was about 13. Then there was Cloud, a small boy who’s story was more vivid then the others. His home was destroyed by his hero-Sephiroth- with the heartless and he watched it all, he was about 11. There wasn’t much sound from him if you could even get him to talk-Aeris seemed to be to only one who could get him to talk- Then there was Squall, his story was much like Clouds only he actually tried to fend off the heartless and from that got a long angled scar that started from the right side of his forehead and ended just before his left eye, he was about 8.
Then there was Kairi, a little 4 year old girl who’s grandma was also with her in the castle. They were the other people there that Cid said had kinda just found there way here just as Nanaki. Cid was basically the one who would watch out for the kids and Nanaki if they got in trouble but he would never admit to being soft.
Since Hallow Baston had basically become Nanaki’s new home, he befriended the children. Not many other people came to the castle, if any did they were so wounded from battles with the heartless they didn’t make it through the night.
One day as Nanaki and the children where playing in the main entry hall a tall, pointy shaped woman by the name of Malificent had come. She demanded to see Ansem, who had lately been locking himself in the study and not coming out for days at a time, and left Nanaki and the children with gift. Heartless. Nanaki was able to fend them off enough to let the kids get away, but not without getting injured. When he had fallen the heartless had swarmed around him, slicing and cutting his sides leaving the numerous scars that now cover his body. His right eye was cut right down the middle completely rendering it useless.
If Cid had not come when he did Nanaki may not have been here today. Cid had taken Nanaki and set him in the Gummi ship Ansem had given him. In there were Cloud, Squall, Yuffie, Kairi, and Aeris. The other children were no where to be found as he said and they took off from Hallow Baston. While they were still in space they were attacked by the heartless ships and during all the turbulence Cloud and Aeris were thrown against the door and fell out as it broke open. Cid who was still stuck piloting was unable to help so Nanaki lunged after despite his wounds and was able to grab onto the back of Clouds shirt. Squall and Yuffie and Kairi had grabbed onto Nanaki and they began to pull the two back into the ship. The heartless kept attacking making Cid have to pull the ship through all sorts of maneuvers. It was a miracle in itself that they all didn’t fly out during the spins.
As they pulled the two back into the ship a single heartless came into the ship and stole Kairi from them. From what they could tell she was taken to one of the ships. Though the ship soon collided with another and fell to another world (( Destiny Islands, only she fell on the island as the heartless disintegrated)) There was no time to go after her as the heartless kept attacking and if they turned around it was not going to be a happy ending. They were continually attacked by the heartless as they entered into Traverse Town and landed.
Nanaki who had collapsed earlier from exhaustion and blood loss Cid had to carry out of the ship while the children ran behind them. There was an empty building they took refuge in from the heartless. They couldn’t enter so they were safe for the night.
From then on they had lived in Traverse Town. Cid had made the place they took refuge in into a shop/home for them to stay in, and the town’s people came to accept them. It was about 9 years in living there was Cloud taken by the heartless. Well it was more like he went after them. What happened was while they were all outside Aeris was attacked and Cloud went after to save her and as they reached the world exit he threw her back in as he flew out after the heartless. They spent a while looking for him but Cid said ‘he was probably safe and would find his way back.’
They later came in contact with a boy named Sora wielding the Key blade they herd so much about. Nanaki had never showed himself to the by since he wanted to keep to himself and was better help when not seen. He would help the boy from behind or out of view when he was in a battle and in trouble or he would push an item in the open for him to see. It was only a short while after Sora had appeared where they able to return back to Hallow Baston, their home, for he had defeated the heartless despite his size. Nanaki had even gotten to see Kairi again before they left for Hallow Baston!
Soon Nanaki herd of Sora defeating Ansem-who’d turned to the side of evil and caused all of this problem- and they were sent back to their home everyone was back together ,aside from Kairi, once and for all. Or so they thought. Not only a year later the world barriers were broken down again and the heartless returned as they returned back to Traverse Town. Now Nanaki is back in Traverse Town and ready to fight.

Sample Role Play:
Nanaki wandered the streets of Traverse Town. The place had been his home for a long time and he knew the place quiet well now. He also knew that the boy Sora was back in town. It was no surprise since the heartless had so generously came back and destroyed their home again. Getting bored of the main square Nanaki decided to visit Geppetto’s shop for a bit.
He entered the shop, seeing Geppetto wasn’t there he turned to leave. There was a loud cracking noise above him and as Nanaki looked up he saw the roof break open and the front of a heartless gummi ship come crashing into the building. Still being inside the shop at the time Nanaki was buried below all the wood and couldn’t get out to see who was directing the ship. He herd shouting from a girl who then left soon after. Nanaki couldn’t help but mumble some obscenities as he struggled to free himself from the ruble.
