My thoughts today
Hi everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I had a a big day on Saturday as it was my first "Area Day" as a Girl Guide leader. It was a day filled with Guiders taking different courses ranging from how to have the little ones use thier brains to how to do certain crafts. It was awesome!

Today, not such a good day. I have been reflecting on all of the things that "I need to do" and I have come to a realization today. I am definately not a procrastinator, but I am absolutely a non-finisher!:o >: :o

I have realized, through a lot of self-admitting and being honest with myself, that I would accomplish so many of my goals if I would just finish something I start. Perfect example: my husband Mark does most of the housework because he is home more than I am due to his shift work. He is an excellent homemaker and I really appreciate all he does...often, he will get so angry because if I am the one who decides to do "something" around the house, I will start in one room, on my way to put something away, as I walk through another room, I notice something else and completely forget about the first room...:rolleyes This really drives him nuts!;)

Anyway, they say it takes 21 days to form a habit. So, I am going to focus on just finishing what I start and everything else should easily fall into place. When I think about it, I could name half a dozen things, big or small, that I start and don't finish every day!:o  >D :( This is really embarrasing for me and no, I'm not being too hard on myself, I'm being completely honest. I am so far from where I should be and this is a huge reason for that.

I really need to be accountable for my actions and thats why I'm writting this. I don't know what I weigh because I haven't weighed myself. I did need to buy the belt I mentions last week, but I am so far from where I should be. Most nights I can honestly say I miss my last meal because I'm simply too tired to get it...this is an excuse and not a good one at that. Darrin doesn't want to hear anymore excuses and I dont' want to give anymore.

So, here's to the start of me following through with whatever it is I start, every day, no matter what. >D

This is a big step, now that you have shared this its time to fix it. Get refocused and start fresh, its day one all over again.

Dont waste time, nothing is more frustrating than watching others do well when you could have done the same in the same amount of time.

You will get there, just stay focused.

You know what you have to do, just stay focused and it will come.

I know you want this; it’s been something you’ve been wanting for a long time. Now is the time to focus and to do it. You have all the tools necessary to succeed. Just look at your plan in smaller segments if you need to and the task won’t seem as daunting.

Stay positive and don’t let things around you distract you from what you really want. I am the firs to admit its not always easy but you need to keep picking yourself up and moving forward. There will be slip ups but the important thing is not to let a bad day or meal throw you right off the plan. Just suck it up and keep going.

Keep going. ;)

Hi! Look...I just read through your thoughts and I can totally appreciate where you're coming from having been there myself in the past. I don't pretend to have all the answers. God knows that If I did, I wouldn't of needed Darrin's help so badly. What I can say to you is that being honest with yourself is a HUGE step in creating change in your life. The biggest, sweetest, and most cherrished rewards usually come from the most grueling of challenges. The things you least want to do are usually the things that will leave with the most significant sense of accomplishment once done.

I couldn't agree with Darrin more. He wrote the very thought I have had a million times within my own self:
"Dont waste time, nothing is more frustrating than watching others do well when you could have done the same in the same amount of time."

Maybe you should print that quote from him and read it, re-read it, and read it again during those times when you feel distracted to quit or "just too tired" to do what you know you should do.

Thanks guy's:o I'm speechless.

I will learn to take things as they come, I know I can do it.

I have had a horrendous day, but I have been 100% and I plan to stay that way. I will do what Darrin suggested and make this day 1, a new beginning. I will do it, NO MATTER WHAT!

I really need to prove to myself that I can stick to something that really does mean so much to me and follow through to what I set up for myself.

Thanks so much for all of the encouragement and believing in me and my efforts.:D I'm truly grateful.
