My new passion!
This is all new to me and I'm going nuts over this whole competing, modeling, dieting etc etc etc! I posted this on another thread but here it is! This is a site where you post pictures of yourself and photographers, other models and makeup artists have access to. This way you get offers here and there and you decide which ones you want to accept or refuse! It's great, I've worked with many photographers up to now. Weird doing this off-season but it's a way for me to accept my body when it's not in it's top shape. It's helped my self-confidence alot! Here's the link!

I've worked with Doug Schneider, Tom Thompson, Derek Cooper, Michael Lessard, Vicky Dalrymple, Darkke Studios up to now. Next week I'm shooting with Gord Weber, John Haig and I'm going to Sandbanks to a sort of conference where a bunch of models and photographers get to work together to add variety to everyone's portfolios! I'm really looking forward to that!
Draven (owner and creater of Darkke Studios) just put up 2 of my pics on his site! This is HUGE for me because he is SO talented and not too many models get to work with him!
That being said, everyone I have worked with was extremely talented and comfortable to be around...except for one. LOL! Anyways! Yeah so most of these photographers are from the Ottawa region or Kingston. If anyone is interested in shooting with any of them, send me a message and I'll give you their contacts!

Thats awesome Val!! Congrats on all the modelling work!! Before you did the "fitness" modelling did you have any prior experience in front of the camera?
Going to Sandbanks should be a blast and make for really cool pics!!

LA: none at all. I had just had experience in plays and stuff. That made me realize I loved being on stage or in front of a camera.
Elise: Draven Darkke is an AMAZING photographer!!! He softened me up alot and I usually have a tattoo on my lower left tummy. heheh...photoshop!!!

Thank you! I have a shoot tonight with Gord WEbber! Lets hope he doesn't make me go in the water...it's a beach type shoot. hahaha! I'll let you guys know how it went!
