Mother, even though you are gone from this world now, I still feel a connection to you. I know we didn't have the best mother/daughter relationship, but I still loved you and I still do. I'm sorry you left this life the way you did and I wish we could have somehow made amends before you died. If you can hear me I want you to know I forgive you and pray that you rest in peace.

Moms, it's been a long time since I visited you. I know I haven't been there in a while, but work has been busy. I'm doing something useful with my powers now. Not that I haven't done something useful with them before; just that they're more open to the public now. Pops was a little upset that I kept something like this from him, but he's glad I made good on my powers. I wish you could see me now, a grown man, with a great gal.

Mahda, we just want to tell you we appreciate how you put up with our crazy pranks and wild ways while we were growing up. One crazy child is hard enough to deal with. You dealt with four at once! Now we're all grown up with families of our own. We're doing well because you raised us to do well. Thanks for everything. Ke cuma sa, Mah!

Dear Mom,
I think you know, better than most, how hard these last few months have been for me. And yet at every turn, you have been there, ready to reach out a guiding hand and point me in a safer direction when all I could see was the cliff under my feet.
We both know that I have never been the prefect daughter, nor you the perfect mother. But having the time to really look at the past and think, I can't wish for things to be any different. And it has taken me many years to appreciate the sacfirices you made simply for me to exist.
I don't say it often enough, but know that I feel it everyday.
I am so grateful to the gods that I have someone like you to be a great example of how to be a good parent and spouse. Ever since I was little I have wanted to be like you. You are caring, intelligent, and strong in spirit. You have been a hand of guidance and correction all of my life. You're also very funny! No one plays the dozens like you! When I become a mahda (it might not be too long) I won't hesitate to follow your example. I love you very much, Mahda!

Mother Valentine, you have been an inspiration to us for as long as we can remember. You are a very dedicated co-pastor and a loving, caring person. You are a great blessing to all of us. Eventhough we are not related to you by blood, you are just like a mother to us.
