More to ponder regarding the income tax...from the courts.
From the 1943 Congressional Record:

The 'income tax' is, therefore, NOT a tax on INCOME as such. It is an excise tax with respect to certain activities and privileges which is measured by reference to income which they produce. The income is NOT the basis for determining the amount of tax. House Congressional Record, March 27, 1943.
The revenue laws are a code or system in regulation of tax assessment and collection. They relate to taxpayers, and NOT to NONTAXPAYERS. No procedure is prescribed for nontaxpayers. Economy Plumbing & Heating Co. v. U.S. 470 F.2d 585 (U.S. Ct. of Claims, 1972).

The Redfield case is an excellent case, because the court thoroughly considered the nature of the tax and the difference between a tax DIRECTLY of income (as property) as opposed to a tax on revenue taxable activities, such as doing
business in a corporate capacity. For example, the Oregon Supreme Court said:

"We deem it necessary at the onset to determine the nature of the tax..." Redfield, supra, at 816

"The individual unlike the corporation, cannot be taxed for the mere privilege of existing. The corporation is an artificial entity which owes its existence and charter powers to the state; but, the individuals' RIGHTS to live and own property are NATURAL RIGHTS for the enjoyment of which an EXCISE CANNOT be imposed. Redfield v. Fisher, 292 P. 813 at 819, 1930.

Financial ncome is property and the compensation for ones own labor.

"The liberty mentioned in the 14 Amendment means, not only the RIGHT of the citizen to be FREE from the mere physical restraints of his person, as by incarceration, but the term is deemed to embrace the RIGHT of the citizen to be free in the enjoyment of all his faculties; to be free to use them in ALL LAWFU:L ways; to live and work where he will; to earn his livelihood or avocation... Allegeyer v. Louisiana, 165 U.S. 578 at 589.

So?

So? You're a taxpayer.

Quote:
Financial ncome is property and the compensation for ones own labor.
Which has absolutely nothing to do with the question of whether it is taxable.

Re: More to ponder regarding the income tax...from the court
No I am not a taxpayer because I am not a corporation. But over the last 4 or 5 decades, the US government does consider me a corporation and not a human being. I am not an American citizen to them, I am just a profit center, toiling to produce for their benefit. They think no better of me than a worker ant, or worker bee, producing for the collective colony. This is repulsive to me and it was repulsive to the founders.

Corporate profit and gain is "income" according to various definitions in the IRC and the original intent of the Sixteenth Amendment.

I am a human being with the basic human right to earn a living without a portion of it being extorted and confiscated by a tyrant, or ruling aristocracy. I also believe that I do not deserve nothing from by neighbors income, regardless of how much he has. I consider it thievery. It is his, and his alone. If he wants to give some of it up, then that is his right, and his alone.

American government aknowledged, recognized, and protected this right until some crafty communistic progressives crawled out of their dark caves and completely ruined the Constitution, overturned the balance of power, and dishonored the spilled blood of patriots who willingly died, going muzzle to muzzle in open fields, in their struggle to end Aristocratic rule and make ALL Americans king among kings in their own land.

I refuse to be their economic slaves any longer and would rather rot in jail than be a slave to their communistic system.

Too many Americans died to secure my liberty and won't let their deaths be in vain.

Our rights do not come from how much taxes we pay. They come from our creator and our government is not "Caesar", the government is the sevant, and WE THE PEOPLE are the Caesars.
