Moment's repreive
The wind blew lightly as students from the local High school started to leave the building. Today had ended sooner then usual due to some teacher meeting from what they knew. A few of the many students that where leaving the building were Selphie, Kairi, Tidus and Wakka.

All of them had grown a bit since last year, Kairi was no longer the shortest of the bunch. How ever Selphie was, and almost everyone liked to poke fun at that. Though Tidus and Wakka had grown more maturly they stil had their wacked out hairstlyes, which selphie poked fun at in return.

Kairi stretched her arms out. "Ahhh, This is stupid they might as well of canceled today instead of making us all come here if they were just gonna send us home anyways." The day had been pretty boaring as well. They had went to first period got math homework, started history class then they were told they had to go home. They didn't even get lunch which really ticked Kairi off cause she had accidentally slept in and missed breakfest.

"Ahhh, This is stupid they might as well of canceled today instead of making us all come here if they were just gonna send us home anyways."

"The teachers just want to bore us to death." Selphie joked as she hopped down the steps. Probably wasn't true, but it was better than Tidus's brain washing conseriacy. "But you can bet they'll just give us more work tomorrow." Due to the countless pranks the boys pulled off in middle school, the teachers weren't to fond of the group. Why Kairi and Selphie were added into that group, who knows but they were. Selphie turned around to see Tidus and Wakka walking up behind them, "And here comes half the reason."

"Its not funny Selphie. I failed Ms. Mamari's class again!" Tidus groaned holding a piece of paper in his hands. "Now I can't play in the Blitz Ball tournement!"

"Hey, I tried to tutor you, but you didn't listen to a word I said! So tough luck buddy, its not my problem." Selphie replied with a little huff. Tidus dashed up beside Selphie with his begging look. Normally he used this to get munny from Selphie, and normally it never worked. "Aw come on Selphie! I'll listen this time!"

"Ask Kairi!"

"Kairi?"

"Kairi?"

kairi looked at Tidus questionably. "Don't look at me." she replied closing her eyes and putting her hands behind her head once again. Tidus's face fell.

"Aw c'mon! Please Kairi!! This is my last chance or the couch will kick me off the team!!" he pleaded.

Kairi still not convinced replied. "Well, maybe you should've paid attention more in class." All they ever did in class was stare off outside or talk or hit her and Selphie with wads of paper, and for some stupid reason the teachers always thought she had started it. Which landed them all outside in the hall holding pails of water. "You think that after numerous times of being stuck in the hall you would learn..."

Tidus raised a finger in argument. "But it's not my fualt class is so boaring!"

"Well maybe you should realise thats life!" she argued back. Tidus now had his hands together and his head bowed slightly.

"Please Kairi I'm begging you!!"

After a moment of thinking Kairi groaned. "Why does it always have to be me?" she complained slightly before Tidus had tackled her with a hug. "Thankyou so much Kairi!!!"

Kairi lightly pushed Tidus off her. "Just pay attention and don't mess around, or else. " she stuck her tounge out smileing. Tidus nodded rapidly. "Anyways, we'll see you guys tomorrow ok?" he said while him and Wakka started walkign towards their homes.

"Yeah see you tomorrow, and be over at five tomorrow got it?"
"Got it!" Tidus had gone back to his blitz ball crazed salf and started talking with Wakka about the next game as they started to walk home.

Selphie rolled her eyes as the two boys took off, "Kairi, you really shouldn't go easy on him like that. He needs to learn to study himself." That and Selphie did wasn't really comfortable with the fact that Tidus would be over at Kairi's. It wasn't that she didn't trust Kairi, it was the opposite. Tidus would flirt with every girl on the island, given the chance. This normally ended him nowhere, since Tidus wasn't honestly a lady's man. That was Riku. He didn't even have to try and every girl in the Eigth Grade was swooning over him. Well, except Kairi and Selphie. It was hilarious because it made Sora, Wakka and Tidus completely jealous and the two girls normally got a good laugh out of that.

"Just make sure there are no candles in the room." Selphie joked with a small chackle afterwards. Selphie was a helpless romantic and her nagging at Tidus about every romantic movie she had ever seen had to spart something at one point or another.

"I know Selphie it's just..I don't know I kinda felt a little sorry for him. Besides.." Kairi grinned micheviously. "It's not like we're gonna do anything, rigth Selphie?" She would never know how far Selphies over romantic mind could take her but this should pretty much test out her theroy.

It was only a matter of moments until Kairi burst out laughing, leaning on Slephie she said. "I was kidding! Don't worry Selphie it's just going over exams and study books." She said while rounding the corner. It was a while before she would reach her house, she might as well have fun teasing selphie while she could.

"I know Selphie it's just..I don't know I kinda felt a little sorry for him."

Selphie made a small snorting sound as she turned the corner with Kairi, "Sorry? For him? Why?" Because he was an complete idiot who had the attention span of a goldfish? Tidus was your typical comic book lovin, video game playin fourteen year old that just happens to have a talent for Blitz Ball.

"Besides.." Kairi grinned micheviously. "It's not like we're gonna do anything, rigth Selphie?"

"Just be careful, I think Tidus is desperate for a date to the dance." Selphie replied with a small glance at Kairi. Tidus never got a date to the Paupu Moon Dance, Selphie always went with Wakka so she wouldn't be stuck with the blonde idiot. Though Selphie had no clue what Kairi would do since she normally went with either Sora or Riku, and neither of them were here. From the way she was acting, Selphie didn't think Kairi would even go.

"I was kidding! Don't worry Selphie it's just going over exams and study books."

"Not with Tidus around."

((And yes Tidus is fourteen! I've done my research. Selphie's fourteen too, Wakka should be sixteen))

"Sorry? For him? Why?"

Kairi folder her arms behind her head once more. " What's wrong with you Selphie? usually you're more cheerful....." she grinned. "Is it a lovers quarl between you and Tidus?" she teased.

"Just be careful, I think Tidus is desperate for a date to the dance."

Kairi shook her head from side to side. "Ahh, Doesn't matter I'm not going this year. It's nothing fun, all you do is stand there and move in a circle while listening to music. Big thriller we got there." she said sarcastically. The talk of who was going with who and what not had gotten Kairi to dislike the dance cause, one she didn't have anyone to go with, two she was on the comitte, and three she just didn't want to go. It was a waste of time and money.

"Who are you going with anyways?"

" What's wrong with you Selphie? usually you're more cheerful....." she grinned. "Is it a lovers quarl between you and Tidus?"

Selphie jumbed a bit to the side with a slightly disgusted look on her face, "Me? With him! Never!" Though Selphie's overreacting would obviously give any of her feelings for him away. "We're freinds, thats all." She added, crossing her arms. Yeah sure...It was so obvious, but of course Selphie would never admit it.

"Ahh, Doesn't matter I'm not going this year. It's nothing fun, all you do is stand there and move in a circle while listening to music. Big thriller we got there."

"You didn't even dance at the last one Kairi! Heck, I didn't dance at the last one." They didn't have a chance to dance with Sora, Wakka and Tidus making fun of the chaperones. The only time those three ever got onto the dance floor was when they played the YMCA and the Chicken Dance, or when Riku started dancing, because then they'd all get jealous.

"Who are you going with anyways?"

Selphie just shrugged her shoulders, "I dunno." She paused, then shot a glare at Kairi, "But not Tidus!"

Re: Moment's repreive
kairi laughed at Selphies reaction to her comment. Another fun pass time was teasing the poor girl. Then again the same could be said on Selphies case, but who knows.

"You didn't even dance at the last one Kairi! Heck, I didn't dance at the last one."

"Exactly. I saw how truly boaring the dances are except for when you have a good dance partner or when they play a fun song. WHich is almost never. So there for I have decided against going, though you can still go...may it be with Tidus or not." She grinned.

As they rounded the corner Kairi waved good bye to Selphie and headed in the direction of her house. Her home was pretty far off, she never understood why but her adoptive parents liked being out of the rush. Even though there was barley enough peopel to consdier it crowded they still had built the house farther out away from the rest. Though she couldn't complain about the veiw. From her bedroom window she was able to see the island's that her and everyone whould hang out at during the summer. No parent's, no rules....well not many, just the beautiful sky and clear ocean and soft sands. It was the greatest.

Kairi walked through her front door. "Mom? Dad? I'm home!! School ened early if you're wonder!" the only response she had gotten was the soft breeze that blew through out the house, showing her mother had left the windows open again. And that they were still at work.

Kairi sighed, kicked her shoes off, then walked up to her room. Kairi dropped her bag on the ground as she fell on her bed. She sat there with her eyes closed for a while before deciding she should get up and finish all the homework she had been given. Which took alot, cause she liked her bed, it was soft and comfy.

She sat up eyeing her bag. It didn't exactly give off the most welcoming aura. " I know!" Kairi said. She hopped up on her feet and walked over to her book shelf aross her room. (Mind you her room isn't that big) And took out two seperate books. One with a new and more well taken care off appearance as the other had a worn look. She set the books down on her desk and sat down while openeing the worn one. It's pages were worn as well but the letter's were still visable and leadgeable.

There was sounds of scratching while she worte down some things on paper. However she continued to do so till Kairi was satisfied that she was done. Sitting back in her chair lookign at her work proudly. Kairi got back up put the books away then went back to her desk looking out the window gazing at the island they used to go to. It had been a while since she had last visited.

Kairi deciding that since there was nothing else to do she would go to the island. She left her room, completely forgetting she was still in her school uniform, and soon walked out of the house.

She walked through the town and to the dock's where her small wooden boat stood. Kairi looked at the few boats that were tied to the dock. Aside from her's and Selphie's only a few others were there. Two of those being Sora and Riku's. For some reason their parents just never found the time nor heart to come and get the boats. So there they sat.

I guess some things never change Kairi thought with a smile while gazing at the two small vessal's. Images of Sora, Riku and her trying to put up a small sail in one of the boats plauged her mind. She shook her head rapidly.

"Ok! off I go!" She said to no one in particular while untieing her boat.

Re: Moment's repreive
Kairi soon arived on the island. She then tied her boat then jumped on he dock brushing herself off. She looked around. It hadn't really changed since the last time she was here.

She hoped off the dock and started walkign around, the soft sand sinking in as she took each step. Kairi looked over to where the secret spot was.The overbrush had grown pretty thick. Kairi pulled off a few of the braches opening the passage. She ducked in and made her way to the back of the cave. The light was not the brigthest of all but it was still pretty strong. She looked at the scribbles as she walked in deeper to the back.

A few of them were of Sora as a super hero, her at a house with a puppy, riku with a sword, sora as a mermaid.....that one no one understood why one of them had drawn it but it was still there none the less. no matter how odd it was.

Kairi went to the end of the cave and kneeled down looking at the picture her and Sora had done when they were little. She traced her finger over the image lightly. Sora had added an eextra peice to it to.

Or at least she hoped, cause if it was some type of joke that Selphie, Tidus, or Wakak had done she would probobly pummel them for it later. Why? Because she had added anothed peice to the drawing as well. backing away from the wall Kairi leaned up against a rock. The warm wind blew against her. She was getting a little tired now that she thought about it.

Kairi looked up at the cealing Maybe a little rest wouldn't hurt.... she then closed her eyes and let sleep over take her.

A soft wind blew threw the cave, soft, but freezing to anyone who was inside. It stopped suddenly though, like it was never there. A figure conceiled itself in the shadows, already hidden by a hunter green cloak. The hood was set low upon her face, only letting a new violet strands visible, and once in a while when she looked up, her peircing golden eyes.

It wasn't here. Her key. It wasn't on this world. She thought as much. If it wasn't here, than where was it. The figure froze once she eyed Kairi. "The princess of heart..." She whispered in a unhearable tone. A small smirk appeared on the girl's face.

The princess returned back to her home, but not the key? Very parcurlier. But of course it was almost expected. Sora was trying to find Riku, who had was locked behind Kingdom Hearts...

Kairi in her warm dream was suddenly brought to a world of cold. She shivered rubbing her arms. It was no use it was still cold. Kairi squirmed, the sudden weather change was truly unusual.

Kairi opened her eyes hazily. There were two golden eyes glowing. She closed her eyes again assumign she was seeign things. Kairi opened her eyeys once more, her vison how clearer. The eye's where still there. She jolted up.

"Who are you?!" completly suprised that someone had come and found her none the less while she was asleep.

Eroda's pale face remained hidden under the hood, though her smile and golden eyes were visible. "Dear princess, thats not important." She replied in her cool, calm voice. She seemed highly uninterested in Kairi, though she would love to just mess around with her mind a little, which is exactly what she planed.

"The Key...where is he?" She was obviously talking of Sora, who was a vital role in her master plan. The princess must of known where he was, and if not, Eroda had other ways of finding him...

"The Key...where is he?"

Kairi looked at the hooded figure coldly. "Key? Like a house key? In my bag. Though I don't belive my house key is male." she snapped. This person had jsut all of a sudden showed up and started interrigating her. No one would be that happy rigth now, and for those who were it was far beyond Kairi.

"Just who are you anyways? What do you want." She said blandly. Kairi expected no answer but she wasn't going to keep letting this person try and corner her.

Eroda balled her hand into a fist and growled lowly. She hadn't realized the intelligence level of the princess until now, and hoped the others weren't like this. "The Key...the Keyblade." She repeated, knowing the girl would understand it this time.

"Just who are you anyways? What do you want."

"My name is of no importance to you child." She snapped, "And as far as my motives, I guess you shall learn that soon enough..." She chuckled, leaving an eiree feeling about her.

"The Key...the Keyblade."

Kairi of course had already known what the hooded figure was talking about the first time. She assumed that this person was looking for Sora. There seemed to be alot of danger that followed him.

"My name is of no importance to you child." She snapped, "And as far as my motives, I guess you shall learn that soon enough..."

Kairi disliked being called a child but she kept her silence. She was not going to get any more information from this person, and she herself was not to give anymore. Kairi stood up and brushed the sand off her arms and legs.

" I'll be taking my leave now." Kairi said coldly taking a step towards the exit.

" I'll be taking my leave now."

"I don't think so princess. You might just help me gain the key I need." Eroda moved quickly infront of the passage way that lead outside the cave, so as Kairi couldn't escape. The princess would probably lead to Sora...it was just a matter of figuring out what world the boy was on. Thanks to that witch Namine, Eroda had no clue where Sora could be. But it was best to start on Traverse Town and keep moving...

She grasped Kairi's shirt, pulling the girl twoards her, "Calling the heartless here would be such a waist of my time...besides...why would I want to destroy a pathetic world like this? I have a repuation to uphold." Her other hand held her mirror, though it was hidden underneith her robe, so it couldn't be seen. "But what to do with you my dear princess? You would be the perfect bait to get ahold of Sora, the Keyblade Master...and maybe Riku and the legendary King Mickey."

Kairi pulled back away from the persons graps. She guessed that this person was female due to the tone of her voice. Kairi glared at her, trying to peer under the hood but was only met by shadows.

"But what to do with you my dear princess? You would be the perfect bait to get ahold of Sora, the Keyblade Master...and maybe Riku and the legendary King Mickey."

Kairi growled " You leave Sora and Riku alone! I'll fight you! I'm not a useless damsel in distress! And I won't let you hurt my friends!" She yelled gripping the hand that held her shirt tightly. " Now let me go!" she ordered.

A wicked smile crossed Eroda's face as she let out a chackle, "You think you can stop me! I have magical knowledge far beyond you're comprehention!" Eroda let go of Kairi, letting her drop to the cave floor, "I assure you no harm will come to them...well...not now at least." Eroda added.

"But first princess, I must locate the keyblade master as well as the King." Eroda turned the mirror slightly letting a light that spilled through the top of the cave hit it and reflecting it to the mysterious door that sat in the back of the cave. A few words were muttered, opening the door. A strong wind pulled nearly everything that wasn't attached to the floor, or stone, in, though it never affected the woman's stance. "I hope you have a safe trip princess."

Kairi hit the cave floor with a soft thud. The sand that they stood on was a nice cussion at times. Kairi regained her staure as she stood back up.

A few words were muttered, opening the door. A strong wind pulled nearly everything that wasn't attached to the floor, or stone, in, though it never affected the woman's stance.

She tried to catch what the woman had said but then sudden strong wind had blocked out the softly spoken words. Kairi could feel the horrendoulsy strong wind pulling her back. Yet that being just stood there as it was a light breeze. Not even moving. Just what is she?! Kairi thought frantically.

"I hope you have a safe trip princess."

Why had she kept calling her 'Princess'?! What meaning did it have? Kairi started to shout something back but she was engulfed by a dark light as she fell back into the door. She wondered where she would end up breifly before she lost her counciouness but never saw where before the darkness completly engulfed.l

The door shut with a slam, leaving no sign that the princess was even there. Eroda pulled her hood down, revieling her face and everything. She smiled, pulled out her larger mirror The girl would arrive in Traverse Town at any moment and if Sora was there, he should find her in no time. Once the boy was located, her plans would be easily carried out. But for right now she would have to keep track of the princess, which could easily be done with her mirror.

With another simple turn of the mirror, Eroda could bring forward the image of anyone she desired. Many powers of the mirror were unknown, and some even to Eroda, but she could control what powers she had knowledge of with ease, and they came in handy.
