Mob Orgins (my verse)
I've been thinking of starting an interactive story about how Mon*Star comes to Limbo and starts the Mob. Would it be alright to start now with the war story in a decent swing?

Re: Mob Orgins (my verse)
For me it will have to wait till after the holidays, I'm working upwards of 75 hours a week currently between two jobs that is. One went to 7 days a week which means midnight to 5am every bloody day! And Rich is complaining he don't get to see me often enough cause he also works over 40 hours aweek right now.
On the good side of things Mom hopes the 7 day a weel one will last at least 3 months, then I can build me comp the way I want it!

Well, it would kill me to wait. It'll give me more time to develop a pair of crooks, Frost (ice lunatac) and Exotica (Thundarian\cheetah). As well as some oppostion because the 'Hawks are around yet.
Just for kick, when you can get to it, Chajo, do you have another RP character you can pull from you collection for this? Eath and Bedlama have been allied for almost 150 years.
Another just for kicks, here are some stats for this story. Besides Mon*Star, Steele and Soundori, this who's, Mob wise around in 2529.
Zero- He's still in his real body and is 25 years old. That's middle age for a Surkosian.
Hardware- He's in his mid-200's. Appears to only look in his early thirties.
Mumbo Jumbo- Salvaged by Hardware. Partner of sorts.

Just some more info.
People in Limbo and other mixed star systems\planets\galaxies wear a translator that resembles a hearing aid. The translator has every known alien laguage programed into it.
Zorvakh\Mon*Star won't have any idea what anyone's say for while. I just remembered last night that he has his eye patch by then. Sometime after his return from his Rite of Passage his eye gets clawed out.

Re: Mob Orgins (my verse)
I have a history for Frost and Exotica. As for a future, we'll see what happens in the story.
FROST
A member of a group of pirates similar to Luna and the lunatacs of the Thundecats series. He met Exotica as a fourteen year old slave stolen from the mutants. She was given to Frost as gift by his leader, 4th moon lunatac known as Hunter. Two years latter he left with Exotica in tow and eventually they found themselves in Limbo.
EXOTICA
Born into slavery, her mother was pregnant upon being captured. She was a member of the first and last colony away from Thundera. When Exotica was fourteen her master was acused of being a trator and soon found guilty. She and her fellow slaves were sent back to Plun-Darr to be sold at auction. On the way there the ship was raided by lunatac pirates. When she was given to Frost he came to see her as more than a slave and she became his partner. He also gave Exotica her name.

Re: Mob Orgins (my verse)
With Charra's much apreciated permission I was able to use the religous worrir concept for the squid like Bedlamians. This is the details I came up with for my verse. More will come up as needed or for whatever...
The Great Maker is what the Calimarus called the god they beleive created their speices as well as the vulcan like Bedlamians. The Calimarus beleive they were created to protect them and to 'remind' them of the spirit world and the Great Maker. The religous part of the two cultures is basically a shared one.
It is forbiden for Calimarus to fight Calimarus because they are to fight those who would harm them and the other Belamian species. Killing is a big no-no, too, so the Calimarus' hand to hand combat style is desinged to hurt, but never kill. If a warrior does kill he or she must go through soul purifing process which I'll detail later.

Re: Mob Orgins (my verse)
Kewl, Just read the intro *S*
I've managed to get some of the muses active, though not completly in the direction I want, but when no muses arepreasent at the time, beggers can't be choosers. Perhaps I can get them headed in the direction of our two stories. One can only hope.
Oh, yeah, still looking for any avalible "extras" muse wise to help out *S*.

I hope so, too because when we get going we're going. I have to thank you for this story. If it weren't for "PWP: Yesman" I don't think "It Was a New Age" would be.

Just some quick details I thought I mention. This story takes place in Earth year 2529 and alchol is served in the Sini-Star Diner. The reason why it's no longer served will be explained in the story.

*shakes head* I either cooked up a dud or this is hard for you guys to get into. I can understand if it's the latter. one of the main characters can't cominucate with anyone and no 'show knowledge' really exsists or is known yet. There's hope... It took a bit for "Sibling A-Ravalry" to kick off and eventually poor Moonhawke had to beg us to temorarily cut it off.
I know i haven't been piping up very often, but i have been kidnapped by a certain half-dog demon who has demanded that I write about the wonder that is him. Sheesh. Muses.

No, I don't. I myself was begining to wonder if that one was going to end. I can also understand about the muses. Mine we're very quiet for a while and now they're obviously not.
Re: Mob Orgins (my verse)
I might have an addition or three for you. I just have to poke around to see if I can find said muses. They like to hide it seems.

Re: Mob Orgins (my verse)
I finally managed to dig up a couple of muses for you *G*
Kuri GhostWings - A rare Mutant/Thundarian Half-breed. He's more gryphonish then anything. A Snow Leopard/Bat-mutant mix. He's taken to the life of a criminal. Pimping mostly, fenceing goods on the side. Though he's a sleez bag, he's also a smooth talking sleeze bag. Oh, he also likes to ... 'sample' what his girls have to offer. Especially when he get's a new one.
Silvia Blackrose - A bedlamain (the vulcan looking ones) Thief. She likes pilfering noble's homes and leaving behind a black rose as her calling card. She also enjoys blackmailing said nobles when she can find stuff on them.
The two like to pair up and have something of a relationship going. Both know they are just using each other.

Re: Mob Orgins (my verse)
Got some updates and such to throw around...
I've just decided that by now Zorvakh\Mon*Star has a mish mash of alien languages in his vocabulary. But, because of the universal translator everyone can understand him most of the time.
And somehow this story has got to get steered into a more linear plot. The stage is fairly set, our players are there and I've got little. I had an idea of Steele\(future)Yesman being a sort of tour guide for Zorvakh. Anyone, beside me, want to take a stab at Mon*Star and Yesman pre-show?
I just wanted to puit in a fact about Surkosian (Zero) names. All last names only have three letters (ex. Pim, Orr).
