Hi Ryan
During June through September, Colorado Rotor-Heads meetings are held at Chatfield reservoir for flying (in SW metro Denver) on the second wednesday of the month. This months get-together is wednesday August 13th, from about 4pm until dark. This is an informal "event", just an opportunity to fly and talk with other helicopter enthusiasts about your latest project, or to see what is new. Members and non-members are welcome - please feel free to join us!
I usually coordinate the flying meetings at Chatfield by email - send me your email address and you'll be in the loop!
If you are interested in joining the Colorado Rotor-Heads rc helicopter club, yearly dues are only $20.
The Colorado Rotor-Heads is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the enjoyment of the hobby of radio controlled helicopters. We currently have about 30 paid members, and we get together to fly as often as possible. In addition to our monthly membership meetings, we also hold fun-fly events in the summer. The club is a well-established group of R/C helicopter pilots whose members share common interests in building, flying, and talking helicopters. Our membership is diverse in age, experience, and expertise. With pilots ranging from beginners to experts, instructors, and factory reps, the Colorado Rotor-Heads has something for everyone. Like most other clubs, we gather once a month for a short business meeting and often a program presented by a member or guest lecturer. We invite you to join us!
