Hello, Lavinia... thank you for joining, and welcome to the board. *^^* I suppose I should introduce myself, as well. I'm Michiru, 16, from Texas, USA... I'm obsessed with all things oceanic and water related, thus my obsession for Ocean Girl. ^^; If anyone happens to be bored or curious about who I am, visit my personal site here. Hello. My name is Catalina and I've been an Ocean Girl Fan for about five and a half years. I'm fifteen and I live in California (it would be so cool if the water were as pretty as it is in Ocean Girl). I'm glad to finally meet someone who remembers this show ^_^

Hi, Catalina.. welcome to the board. *^^* ::blink:: I've never been to California, but I've always heard that the water is beautiful...? I'm sure it must be better than the water here. x_x; Galveston water... bleh. It's all brown and... yeah. ^^;

Thx to Michiru for starting this message board...hopefully it stays free of all unnecessary posts.
I'm 17 yrs old, live in BC Canada and have been watching OG for about 3 years. I love the ocean and am going to be a marine mammalogist for my career. Any emails, links about ocean or marine mammal stuff is always welcome in my inbox!

Unfortunately I haven't seen OG since they played it on Disney (I don't know, maybe 5 years ago). It is still my second favorite show today, so forgive me if I sound like I don't know what I'm talking about. I never did see the first season, but I saw the 2, 3, and 4th ones ^_^ Hope I have fun talking to you all!

I only noticed this board recently.
I live in Australia.
I like Ocean Girl quite a lot (even though I've never seen most of the episodes, didn't find out about the show until it was over ).
I'v read the book of the first year (it is my prized (and only Ocean Girl posession) and watched the animated version of the show.
Fortunately, they started screening the first series again on ABC (Friday, 5:30 pm). But I still missed the first two episodes, grrr!!!! I expected the show to screen on Ten, not ABC!!! The video tapes of those episodes will be my other prized Ocean Girl posessions.

i'm mandie, 15 from michigan, and i'm so glad that there are other people out there who have actually heard of ocean girl! (i've only found one other person outside of here!) well, thank you for starting this and i hope we can keep ocean girl alive... *peace*
Re: helloI have seen all four seasons and I still hoping that they will be aired again, so I can watch all of them again. I saw the first season about seven years ago, when the show started to be aired in Germany. I love it more and more and tried to watch every part of it. I think the whole film got better and better from episode to episode(or season). I most of all love the fourth episode with the Egyptian pyramid. But also the idea of the Synchronium( hope I spelled it right) was so overwhelming. And I think the whole idea which stands behind the film is very convincing.
I am really great to find at least the one or other person who does like the film as much as I do. I remeber before years there has been almost nothing about it on the internet.
I will always love that TV-show, it doesnt depend on age or anything.
