Lost in my mind [aw]
Kalm padded near the waterfall. He looked up at it. It is so tall and beautiful, Kalm started to chuckled, a wolf like me thinking something is beautiful? Now what kind of wolf am I turning into? Kalm asked himself in a joking matter. He than looked down at his black paws and starting thinking of the past. His love... Timbre, she had left him for his brother, Zitlia. Her timber colored fur was so soft and beautiful. Will I ever love again? He asked himself. Yet he found it almost impossible for that to happen. Kalm didn't want to think about that, not now... He needed to worry about other things. Besides the fact he came here to calm down, to think.
Kalm just lay down and put his head on paws. He than sighed. He was tried, being an alpha wasn't an easy thing, it had alot of responsiblities. You had to go around your territories and check to see if any new commers had came. You also had to see who was worthy to join your pack. He needed a gamma or alpha female in his pack. He needed help to take care of his pack. He needed more members. He couldn't do this on his own, well he could, but he can't be in two places at the same time. That was impossible, for him that is. Some wolves could, with the they have, all they had to do was just think and poof like that they are gone.
Kalm closed his eyes slowly. Little by little he started to fall asleep. A black wolf running into the forest, he looked just like Kalm... But it wasn't Kalm at all... It was Kalm's father. His teeth stained with blood. His red eyes glaring at him. Come on Kalm, you know you want to be like me. Than his father started laughing. Kalm woke up, his eyes widen. He looked arounf to see that he was all alone. No one nearby. Although he sense someone was near.

The dog sat, the sun staring at her black fur, threatening it with it's heat. Long pink tongue hung dully from the side of her muzzle. It was a warm day, and the she-dog was tired. Her purple-ish eyes wandered forwards, half shut. It had been a long day. For no real reason. Night couldn't come fast enough. Perhaps if she took a walk, it would come faster.
Jaze stood and shook off her thick fur. Where could she go? She didn't know the place too well, but she knew Kalm and Evane. That was about it. The female set off to wherever her big paws would take her. She watched where she walked, though she didn't know where it was. Jaze's ears twitched slightly. Though they were flopped down against her face, they could still hear every little thing around them. The bernese mountain dog trotted along to where she heard the sound. The sound; water. She would go for a little swim perhaps. A smile formed on the femme's face. A nice, short swim in a cool pool of water would be wonderful.
As Jaze approached the sound of running water, she saw a blur of black fur laying close to a huge waterfall. He looked a bit confused. The blur seemed to be just waking from a brief nap and a dream. Jay went up to investigate. It was Kalm, her alpha, laying in a heap by a waterfall. The dog wandered up, looking at Kalm in concern.

Silent was the day, older it grew by the second. All Kalm heard was the sound of running water. He looked at it, his red eyes glaring into it. His head still on his paws, he than heard Jaze coming towards him. Seeing the beautiful dog in fornt of him he grinned. He knew she was a good dog, which is why he gave her the rank of beta. He than sat up looking at the tall dog, she was taller than most wolves in the world. It is amazing how our race has changed into many others, Kalm thought to himself.
Hearing the gentle voice of the femle left him wondering, what a dog was doing without humans... Of course it was odd, but still many ideas entered his head. He notices that her voice showed concern. Kalm was glad that she was, he was her alpha.
"Hello Jaze." Kalm said looking at the waterfall once again. The world they lived in made him think. Why were so many so lonly? He didn't know the answer, and didn't bother to find out unless it told him himself. He than turned back to Jaze, Kalm was only kind and showed respect to his pack members. But yet on the other hand, he still was rude in a way. Kalm had worked so hard to bring his mother's old lands back to life, but it was working. Not rapidly, but slowly it will come to where wolves and creatures of all kinds are all over the place.
"How was your day, if you don't mind me asking..." Kalm looked at the female dog, just waiting for her to reply.

The dog smiled at the black wolf. The handsome male stood up before Jaze, looking forth with red eyes. The femme stared into his eyes. She felt like she never wanted to look away. The dog sighed as Kalm's voice rang out. Hello Jaze. How was your day, if you don't mind me asking... She blinked then looked around towards the waterfall. It was big, and pretty. It looked nice for a quick swim. Perhaps Kalm would agree.
Course I don't mind, Kalm dear. It was fine but night can't come fast enough...Her purple eyes turned from the wolf, to the waterfall then back to him once again. A nice swim would be nice though. Care to join me?A playful smile appeared on the bernese mountain dog's maw. Slowly, she stepped to the waterfall's pool beneath the rapids. Jay got into the water slowly then paddled around. The water cooled her dark body very fast. It felt so nice having the cool liquid swallow her body.
Finding a rock, Jaze stood on it. From where she stood on the rock, the water was at her stomache, just touching it. She barked, her voice was deep, very unfeminane but of course, it was in her blood. She was quite an unfeminane dog, actually. But she thought herself good enough. She shook the water from her black, white and brown coat, then barked again, inviting Kalm to come in with her. The she-dog loved the water, she loved playing in it. Especially when she had someone to share the fun with. Someone like Kalm would be just right.

Kalm watched as the female dog reacted to his persence here. Her than grinned at her. He than wacthed as she looked at the waterffall, trying to figure out what she was thinking, yet he didn't want to read her mind. Not like he could, he didn't know if she was blocking anything away from him, he than noticed that when he turned his head back she was looking at him again.
Hearing her wanting to join her to a swim made him wag his tail. He hadn't had fun sense he was a young wolf, like Kaos. Yet that was fun for a rebal wolf, he didn't know what was fun for a pure wolf. Although Kalm wasn't a rebel anymore, he still acted ike one. He than noticed that she went into the water before he could even blinked. He watched her for a moment until she invited him to join her. The tip of his tail wagged once again. He than went into the water swimming in it.

Jaze's tail wagged, sprinkling water around into the pool. She jumped back into the water, making a big splash as she paddled to shore with her head bobbing above the water. Slowly, the shedog crawled out and shook her fur off after Kalm. She smiled to him then jumped around, trying to dry her fur. The mountain dog stopped, her tail wagging, then sat back on big hind-quarters. Yawn parted her rims, sticking her pink fleshy tongue out and licking her nose.
So, then, Kalm dear, how're things going in the pack? Jaze blinked at herself. What a random question. Without waiting for an answer, she got up and turned to walk away. Not to leave him, just to wander around the waterfall. As she padded up to it slowly, she noticed a cave sort looking thing behind it. It would be a perfect place for a den. Too bad it wasn't in the packlands... But maybe she would make it her home, her den. It looked like a comfortable little place behind there. So she hopped through the water quickly, avoiding slipping. As she'd predicted, it was beautiful. Jaze curled up by the back wall then remembered Kalm. Her ears flicked forwards, listening intently for the wolf.
Suddenly, the shedog felt tired. Perhaps night had come at last. A smile curled her muzzle with a joyful air. Her purple hued eyes began to close slowly, but she would try not to fall asleep, not unless Kalm was there with her. She didn't want him to feel like she had left him alone out there. The bernese mountain dog had intended on the wolf to follow her back there. But she could not fight it anymore, as she lay there with her head resting softly on her long, elegant legs, sleep took over, ready to be awoken by the slightest of sounds.
