Appearance: Tall and slim, San’Tal is a darkly impressive sight. His face and the rest of his body is pale from extended periods of time in the dark. He has fairly strong muscles, and is very flexible. A pair of vivid green eyes dominate his head. A thick mess of black hair sits atop his head coming down to his eyes. A repeatedly broken nose, a mouth which is practically set in a perpetual sneer, and a strong chin make up the rest of his facial features.
His usual ensemble is a thick black hooded cloak, with various secret pockets, a dark tan coloured robe, leather gloves and boots, and a belt on which his double-bladed lightsaber, a few food capsules, a comlink, and a pair of electrobinoculars dangle.

History: Born into a merchant family on Coruscant, San’Tal was taken away from his family to join the Jedi, in recognition of the substantial force powers he possessed. He quickly rose from a youngling to a padawan, and came under the tutelage of the Knight Oras Kan. He learned quite a lot from his mentor, and they became friends. San’Tal might have become something great in the Order, until he found a forbidden Sith holocron in the Jedi Library.
He believed that it was no more than the recordings of an unorthodox Jedi, and studied the holocron closely. It taught him powerful secrets, and how to find more Sith knowledge. As San’Tal started to become obsessed by the Sith knowledge, Oras stepped in. He lectured San’Tal on the dangers of the Dark Side.
Outwardly San’Tal repented, and Oras, satisfied, let him study again. However, San’Tal had begun to doubt the wisdom of the Jedi. He silently questioned their philosophies, on how they could ignore so much wasted power/ So he still learnt the Sith arts. This became obvious to Council and his mentor when San’Tal used Sith powers during the trials for Knighthood.
Seeing the Council’s shock, and the betrayed look on Oras’ face, San’Tal fled in a stolen A-wing. He had become enamoured by the Dark Side. He replace his green crystals for red crystals, and sought out the Sith.
He arrived, and after some consideration was admitted as an apprentice to the Sith Order. He was a fairly old apprentice, and when he was taken to be trained by the young Sith Tara Sophoi, they found that there were few years between them. They became friends, and then lovers.
Soon San’Tal became a Knight of the Sith, completing the trials easily. After considerable thought, San’Tal decided on the name Darth Fear as a suitable alias.
With his new freedoms, San’Tal had his ship custom built, the credits supplied by what he had captured on the space lanes.
He and Tara still continued their relationship, and then San’Tal was elected for Lordship. Worried that his new rank could ruin their relationship, he proposed to Tara, who agreed. They were 31 then. They have been engaged for nine months, and are to be wed soon.
Personality: A brooding presence, San’Tal is by no means an extrovert. He can hold a grudge for a very long time, and can be almost fanatically set on a course of action once he decides what to do. He has changed from a rather brash and headstrong boy into a cold and calculating young man. He Is quick to see profit, and feels no obligation to help. If a man was drowning in a river, San’Tal would probably be stealing his boots. He has opened himself no very few people, and the only one of those very few that he trusts inexplicably is his lover, Tara Sophoi.
He also can b very commanding, a trait which is useful if you are near the top of the Sith pecking order, which he is, and potentially fatal if you are not.
