Re: Looking for a poetry demon for this forum...
Hi Sanduleak,
Together with my wife Kathy (also a published poet) we are familiar with most styles of formal poetry and would be happy to moderate in the genre - at least as a stopgap until you find someone more qualified.

We are not qualified however to discuss or evaluate modernist and post-modernist works. So if 'half-way' is good enough at this early stage, let me know.

Incidentally, most established poetry sites have discrete areas for formal and free-verse poetry. If not descrete fora, then more than one moderator so that both formal and modernist poetry is catered for.
Worth thinking about perhaps?

cheers

Pete,

Good suggestions - both of them. Since it's a fair call that we could get into a dichotomy over formal/free verse we might as well make the separation now. So I have.

Welcome aboard to Kathy and yourself as moderators for the 'Poetry - Formal' forum on the board. Thanks. Looking forward to some constructive insight and help for those seeking it.

(Btw; y'aint still armed with a flare gun are you? Could get tricky.) :lol
