Leaving
Draging her suitcase, Loki strolled forcefully onto the platform. It was almost three o'clock and her train would be pulling up in thirty or so minutes. She nodded at the old wizard who currently manned the ticket booth, and pulled out her prepaid ticket to London. She was going to dump her man gear down at her new house, and then set off in search of her Aunt.
She dragged the suitcase, not at all in the mood for levitating it, over to an empty seat along the stations fence line. Lowering herself down into it, she could feel the sun blazing down onto her pail checks. She sat idly, her head flopping slightly to her shoulder, and her eyes glazed over staring at the tracks. Leaving, it was too hard to comprehend, within half an hour she would no longer be a student of hogwarts but an enemy of all those who resided in its magical walls.
She turned and squinted through the sunlight to the where the castle would be seen if it wasn't hidden not only by a high tree line, but magical means. She took a deep breath, she was sure going to miss her friends. She turned back to the rusty tracks and waited for her train to appear.
It was clear she was leaving, and it appeared for a long time. Besides her suitcase she was clad in her favourite pair of jean shorts, a tight black skin vest, and a knee length black jacket. In short she was clad for action.
Eclipse was moving at such a speed that he was only a blur to normal eyes. He ran using his new found skill to get to Loki before she left. He couldnt bare it, not saying goodbye in person would kill him. And he needed to ask her why she didnt wanna do so.
Within minutes of leaving the castle he was at Hogsmead Station and spoted Lokes from about 40 yards away. He swooshed right up to the platform and stoped directly infront of Loki, the wind blwoing her hair.
Re: Leaving
Loki had been leaning forward, her elbows resting on her knees, her head in her hands, when someone had run up to her blowing her jaket further around her. The voice was familiar but she dreaded it being who she thought. Slowly she pulled her head up, her eyes pleading for it not be so but there he was the sunlight streaming across his face.
Almost instantly she turned away and brushed a hand through her inch long red hair. "Eclipse," she said staring at the empty part of the bench next to her rather than at him. "What are you doing here?" she asked biting her lip gently.
Re: Leaving
Eclipse frowned as she turned away. "Come on Loki...how could i let you go with out saying goodbye in person..." he sighed and kneeled down next to her. "How could you?" he asked her in a wondered tone.
Re: Leaving
Supporting her head with her hand, Loki continued to stare at the green pailings of the bench. It had been for the best - she thought - that Eclipse found out and hated her because it was going to turn out that way in the end. With her other hand she ran her finger around a small knot hole in the bench.
"Easy," Loki tried to play herself off as the normal cold and harsh Loki, but the cracking in her voice made it futile. "I...I sim..ply walked out of the castle," she said snuffling between words, still not looking at him.
Re: Leaving
Eclipse listened intently to her. And it hurt hearing her say that. He stood up from his knee, and slowly sat down on the bench next to her. "Loki. It may have been easy for you....but i wasnt gonna let you go with out a proper good bye. I've lost something dear to me once because i didnt give her a proper goodbye....and i dont wanna make the same mistake with you." he said now starting to feel sad.
Re: Leaving
Loki's view of the bench was suddenly obscurded by one of Eclipse's legs. Listening to his soothing voice and sad filled words caused the welling in her eyes she been tring so hard to hold back. She moved her hand from the side of her head to cover her trembling mouth, as she slowly lifted her head to look him in the eye.
With sad filled eyes she pursed her lips together tightly trying to stop herself from falling into full blown tears. She'd known she'd react like this and thought she was saving them both a lot of pain, a thought that could be seen clearly in her eyes. She liked Eclipse a lot more than she'd ever let on, - though she thought she was being quite obvious after all he only left a meeting with her with a bruises once (a dead giveaway).
She extended a crocked index finger and ran it gently up the inside of his neck, leting it rest gently on his chin. "Eclipse," she sighed sorrowfully. She leant forward and parted her lips slightly, gently taking his upper lip between her moist pink lips.
"I'm so sorry," she sighed as she pulled away after the brief kiss.
Re: Leaving
Eclipse's inside jerked as he saw the look in her eyes. It was hard, but he was glad it was taking place. His body seemed to release all of its tension as Loki ran her finger to his chin and then kissed him.
"It's okay." he said as she pulled back. "I know how it feels when you have to leave people...its just easier to go." he said. "But....easier is not allways the best way." he said very lightly looking into her eyes. He had been pretty obvious about his feelings for her from the time they had first met. And though she never said it he allways felt that she felt the same way about him, she was the reason he didnt try for other girls. She was the reason he felt sad at times, and now she was the reason he felt torn between happyness and sadness. He brought his hand lightly to her cheek and pulled her in genlty, giving her a kiss. ((will leave it that simple. becuase of the two people i know are watching..*glares* they know who they is!))
Re: Leaving
"I know," Loki sighed, her eyes returning downwards, resting once more on his thigh. If it had been anyone else she would have presumed it a lecture and would have sent her brain into insulting mode, but from him it felt dangerously like advice.
It was this she was going to miss, the warmth, the genuine care she felt for Eclipse and her small group of friends. But just as she couldn't abandon them, she couldn't abandon her Aunt to the Ministry's disciples.
With his tender touch, Loki melted and lift her chin. Her eyes meeting his before they closed and for the briefest of moments she forgot about everything, her fingers lost in his long white locks, and indulged in a world stoping kiss.
The distinct, if not dreaded sound of a trains whistle screamed as the locomotive drew into the station. Breaking away Loki suddenly felt better about leaving and actually managed a smile, before poking him gently in the stomach.
"You better not forget me Luna," she joked sharing her mixed emotions with him through her eyes.
Re: Leaving
Eclipse again felt his insides clench as the sound of the train whistle was heard. But he forced a smile as Loki poked him in the stomach. She was smiling, but he knew she was feeling the way he did. He could see it in her eyes. "There is no way in hell i could forget you chick." he said grinning. "Here..." he said as he dug into his jeans pocket, they were a littly loose so there was plenty of room as he easily pulled out something white and the size of a minature candy bar. It was a lock of his hair bound with a black ribbon. He took her hand and pressed it in, then closed her fist around it. "I've charmed it. You need to talk to me ever...just clench on it like that and think of me. I'll be able to hear you and you can hear me. You need anything at all, any help or simply wanna wine, just clench it." he said to her still holding her hand in both of his.
Re: Leaving
Loki nodded as Eclipse placed the lock of his hair in her hand. "Well you know me, I'm a whiner," she laughed, before slowly rising to her feet on her wobbly legs. She picked up her lugage and dragged it towards the train, handing it to a conducter to be thrown on board.
She walked quickly back over to Eclipse, and took him into a hug. "Thank-you, for everything." she whispered into his ear, her warm breath running across his skin. She lowered her head and kissed the crook of his neck, before pulling away.
Pausing briefly to look at him, she sighed. It was good to have the option to turn to him. "Bye," she smiled before turning abruptly on her heal and heading towards the train door.
Eclipse chuckled as she spoke of being a whiner, and stood when she took her bags to the conducter.
"It was my pleasure..." he whispered back to her as she hugged him. He held her there tight and didnt wanna let her go. But he had to, he loosened his grip as she pulled away. Watching her look back and then walk on into the train, he felt a peice of his heart leaving him. And treasured the day when it would return.
"Hurry back..." he sighed under his breath. He should have left for the castle but he wasnt ready. So he simply backed up and sat back on the bench and watched as the train took off, and eventually dissapeared in the horizon.
