sk4p Unregistered User (3/4/04 4:49 pm) Reply	Laurel Hill visit and guide question Hi all, I paid my first visit to Laurel Hill (West portal) today and got a photo of the tunnel! It appears to have a metal door across the actual portal, perhaps to keep stored salt dry ... I saw johnbil refer to having paid a visit to LHT with an actual guide. Some friends of mine and I are considering a film project documenting local history and I was wondering how one might go about doing so, since I'd like to be able to walk up closer to the tunnel and get a few minutes of footage, rather than a quick snapshot and "hope I get off this little maintenance road before a trooper asks what I'm doing ..." If john or anyone else has a helpful suggestion for this other than simply "Call PennDOT and start navigating from person to person on the phone", I'd sure appreciate it. --S
