Appearance: Kairi has grown obviouslybecome and more womanly for the past year or so. Her hair is now a little above Shoulder length, and its possibly become a little darke in color as well.She did grow a little though only 1 or 2 inches, she was always pretty short to begin with so there is not much change in that area. Her body has gained more curves around her waist and torso. The thing taht will always stand out in a crowd is her misty violet eyes. To many people they would think she was some random self centered girl but if you looked her in the eye's you would see that they are filled with new ambition and determination to fight, yet they stil have the love for all her friends shining brightly through it all.
Clothes: Kairi's attire is her school unifrom, for school has just started up again. Her unifrom is a short blue plaid skirt , a white collar shirt with cut off sleeves, along with a light blue plaid tie,dark navey blue socks that reach a little below the knee's, and black shoes.However underneath her skirt is a pair of short black shorts. Running around on an island all day in a skirt isn’t very smart, unless properly prepared for as Selphie advised to her. This usually meant something bad but this time it wasn't oddly enough. She no longer bears the many bracelets she had on her wrists and she doesn’t have the Black choker anymore either, though she still does where the white tear drop necklace she always had.
Personality: Kairi is still the kind, friendly, active, agreeable girl she was before. Although she has become a little more open with her thoughts on things, more likely to say her feelings to anyone who challenges her. She is very determined to find anyway possible she can help Sora with fighting the heartless. She has a strong sense of justice that won't let her just stand around and watch like she was forced to before. She is reluctant to give up on an argument or challenge. She acts a little younger then she really is at times but in reality she is still only a teenager who is trying to find out where they are meant to be.
Weapon: Kairi holds a staff about nearly as tall as she is. On the top of the staff is a thin steel mesh in the shape of what seems to be a star with thin webs of steel running through it in the shape of a spider web, below it is a small little red marble that has a string going through it, tied to the staff. Often Kairi will carry the staff in her hand like a walking stick or have it slung over her shoulders.
Special Abilities: Kairi is a white mage, she can use curing magic and also she can summon a few Aeon's, Spirits, demons, and such. But since she is still only a beginner she can only summon one right now. She can however manage to control Sora with out any special powers or weapons. Just regular old strength of mind.
Strengths/Weaknesses: Kairi is still inexperienced with fighting heartless, she however has learned some basic summoning skills to cover up for lack of offensive magic. Though in battle she can use her magic to help keep her friends alive(in a manner of speaking). She has gained skill in maneuvering a staff or stick with the help of Tidus who spared with her often on the island. One of her weaknesses though are her friends. If one were to ever come in danger during a fight Kairi would become to distracted causing her to loose.
Family: Like any other human child she has her mother and father, just she doesn't know them.
Friends/Allies: For Kairi it is easy fro her to make friends though her true friends will always be Sora, Riku,
Selphie, Tidus, and Wakka.
Love Interest: Sora or Riku it is still yet to be revealed
Rival: None at the moment
History:
As a child Kairi could not say who her parents were. She had lost memory of them completely. She does not know where she came from, what her home town was like, what her parents looked like, how they acted. She had spent a long time thinking on this subject. Wondering why she couldn't remember anything about her child hood, but she eventually decided on the fact that she should look foreword and not back.
Kairi first met Sora and Riku when she was around 5 years old when, as Sora puts it, she washed up on Shore. After some quick introductions the three of them became best friends. Sharing many adventures, (Many of them landing them all in trouble) hardships and memories as they grew. And as they all grew, so did their wonder of what the universe holds.
Thus creating the idea of building a raft to go out and see the world. Kairi had been in charge of organization, such as figuring out what supplies were needed and how much of it. Though it was Sora who had to gather them. On the night before they were to set sail a storm had suddenly came to the island. Worried for the safety of the raft Kairi took her boat and went to see. Just as she was to check the raft she saw someone go into the secret spot, One of the many places they had explored when younger was a cave that went deep into the side of the earth beneath the roots of the tree's in the forest of the island, Where her and Sora would draw on the walls of the cave with rocks.
Curious, she followed the figure inside the cave to find the figure not there. Confused she decided to look around. It was a small cave and the only way out was the way in. She looked to the door that had always been at the end of the cave. For some reason it seemed to call to her. Kairi walked over to the door, and then a sudden sharp burning pain struck her heart making her fade fast. Kairi then saw Sora at the other side of the cave. She called out to him "Sora....." Then a rushing strong wind came from no where and she fell into darkness.
Kairi remembers it as if time was slow and still. No color, dull muffled sounds. She could only see the time pass and never react. As if she was paralyzed all over, from tip to toe. There was no passing moment where she would wonder why she was like that, it was like she had no will power nor thought on objects, people, emotions, or anything.
Though when Sora called out to her entire body seemed to start up with a new power of thought and realization. Though it was only brief cause then her body shut down again into a deep sleep once more.
When she truly woke up Kairi was met by the sight of her long cherished child hood friend falling to the ground limp. She ran over to him to stop the fall but as she tried to grasp him, his figure seemed to disappear at her touch. Given no time to react she had to follow Donald and Goofy out of the area to safety. As they were leaving the castle a single shadow heartless slid over to the group. Oddly she couldn't help but think it was Sora, even though Donald pointed otherwise. More heartless started to appear and surround them. Kairi dove down, sheilding the small shadow heartless. As the other heartless them attacked the blows never hit. As she opened her eye's to see why, Kairi saw she was in Sora's arms and the heartless were gone. The heartless soon returned and the fled the castle to traverse town where Kairi who was not allowed to continue traveling with Sora for, as he put it she "would kinda get in the way" so in turn she gave him a small good luck charm she had made back on the island. Also telling him he would one day have to give it back.
Kairi soon found herself on the edge of a sandy cliff that was slowly breaking away from its threshold. As she looked up she saw Sora running to her. The small shoft of land suddenly broke off and started to float away. Kairi reached out to Sora, as they grasped hands Sora had made a promise to her while the island floated away.
“Kairi! Remember what you said before? I’m always with you too! I’ll come back to you, I promise!”
At the last moment before they lost hold she replied. "I know you will!"
As she stood on the descending land it started to rain small amounts of light like snow. The island she grew up on as a girl came back to her as Sora left. Though one thing was different. As she went back to the secret place Kairi noticed the drawing's the had done of each other had a small addition. Tears slid down the sides of her face as Kairi touched the small drawing smiling. On the wall was a image of a star fruit going in her direction from her picture of Sora.
Sample Role Play:
The ocean water slid up and down the sandy beach as Kairi walked to the docks. There across the water was Destiny Island, where is all started. There was a brief moment of thought before she herd the approaching foot steps of her friend. Kairi still looked out in the distance none the less.
"Kairi...we should get going schools starting soon..." No response came from Kairi. Selphie placed her hand on Kairi's shoulder.
"C'mon Kairi that was a long time ago. We can only stand by and watch there's nothing we can do right now but continue on."
Kairi shook her head. "No. There's more then that Selphie. I know it...I won't give up" she said turning to her friend clenching her fist. Selphie grinned. There was no stopping this girl now that she's had her mind set. Selphie shrugged while smiling confidently. "Alright Kairi I believe you. Just tell me how I can help and I'm there." She started walking off in the direction of the school. Kairi once again turned back to looking at the island.
"C'mon Kairi we're gonna be late!" Selphie called. Kairi taking one last glance turned and ran to catch up with her friend.
