Just a note for crafters who love to work with flowers
I am a native New Mexican and plan to grow a huge plot of flowers for drying to supply local crafters with "freshly" dried flowers this coming summer. Would love to hear from anyone in my area about the types of flowers they like to work with, etc. One of my favorites (and one I will have a Lot of) is larkspur. It keeps its beautiful colors for years and dries very nicely.

Hi! I like the site you've built here! Looks like we're going to have fun! I love dried delphinium and larkspur. Have you tried oregano? I have several plants and instead of using them for cooking, I let them flower and then dry them. The flowers grow in clusters along the stem in lavender and purple. The plant spreads just enough to keep me happy! (need some? bring a bucket! lol)
Re: Just a note for crafters who love to work with flowers thank you kayte for coming over to see. I love Oregano flowers too and I grow it for the same reason..... the flowers dry wonderfully and smell good TOOOOOOO!!!!
God BLess you
