Jeep diff guards
Looking for someone in Sydney with a Jeep that has standard suspension running a Dana 30 in the front for a quick measure up for a diff guard.

Or any one that could supply some detailed photos of the clearance issues of the tie rod across the fornt of the hat.

From what i have been told the tie rod is a sitting duck to be hit and need some protection.

Re: Jeep diff guards
Well I have my Snake Racing Diff G[/i] fitted to my TJ.
Gave it a bit of a test last weekend too. It's a stout piece of equipment and IMHO is a good value insurance policy for your front diff....

Re: Jeep diff guards
Got my Snake Racing guard a couple of weeks ago. Very pleased with the quality. No chance to test it as yet!.

Yep, got mine and tested it out! best small investment in protection you will ever find (other than a comdon). They look great, really work and give you piece of mind when snap discissions have to be made about what line to take on a rocky course or creek bed. When it comes to the crunch in these circumstances I would rather have it on than not for sure!! Usually it is the lowest point we crunch more often on the trail and it does not take a brain surgeon to work out what is the lowest most vulnerable point on a Jeep or other lesser 4x4's.. Drop on a rock which you cannot determine (usually underwater) in a creek bed and see what happens to a diff..!!
