I have long been a supporter of the Yankees, and was a passionate user at nyyfans.com before I was unceremoniously dumped by the administrators because I had the audacity to disagree with what they said (see, they all think the team is going to coast to 110 wins. I think we have some holes that will keep us from getting there. I never posted anything vulgar mean or inappropriate, but these guys dont want to hear from a realist so they banned me. Fine. They don't want me at nyyfans.com, I am switching sides. I am going to be a Mets fan and I am going to join your community. [/font]

For the record, I think you're right. I think they're in for a rude awakening over there. Lots of sluggers and stars but not enough pitching.

I have always gone by the name Steinbrenner. I wanted to keep it because I wanted to illustrate just how devoted I was in the past, and just how serious this behavior at nyyfans.com has forced me to switch. They are all pipe dreamers who refuse to accept that a 92 win prediction is much more realistic than a 110 prediction with the holes they have.
I have always rooted for the Mets in private, but considered the Yanks my team (heck, I own it). But I am now officially jumping ship.
Mets fans are so much more logical and are not fair weathered.
