It has been VERY quiet in Skankee land
You would have thought after the Skankees lost to the L.A. Angels of Anaheim during the ALDS, they would have spent tons of money acquiring new pitching or a centerfielder the next day!
With all of the talk about the Mets picking up Billy Wagner and Carlos Delgado, I can't help to think how quiet it is over on the Yankees side. TOO quiet.
They did resign Hideki Matsui as well as Bubba Crosby. Other than that, it has been PRETTY DEAD over there. Which makes me wonder, what do they have up their sleeve? Could Manny wind up in pinstripes somehow...even though I think that is highly doubtable.
