It Was a New Age
He was careening through a tunnel of darkness wrapped with wisps of soft blue. Zorvakh had no control over anything as he tumbled and slid on his way to the other side. His arms and legs seemed to bump into the walls of the tunnel, but felt nothing. After what seemed like an eternity an end could be seen. Plain dirt ground was coming closer by the second.
Having little time the beast man tried to brace himself before the tunnel could spit him out.
Upon contact he kept going, almost rolling over what felt like the egde of a cliff. Survival instincts took over and he quickly grabbed the edge and clawed himself up. Once back on the firm ground he scooted back. As things began to come into focus Zorvakh could truly see his surroundings. They appeared to only be a night sky spreading out endlessly before him. The ground he was on floating in the nothingness.
Growling he got up and turn around. Now he could see an archway. Did life exists on the other side? Or was this the ruins of a pre-exsiting race?
On the other side of the archway was a single building with strange marking above the door. What looked like hover vehicles were parked next to the building-- it was a business of some kind. Zorvakh had no other choice than to investigate.
As he walked up to the swinging doors the bneast man could already see an assortment of beings inside. What sounded like music was playing in the background. When he pushed through the doors they made a very audible creeking sound. All at once the aliens turned to look at him.
Steele and Razz had staked out their usual table in the corner of the Sini-Star Diner. It had been a normal evening until a new customer came in. He was so tall his wild red and black hair grazed the top of the doorway. Fur covered all of the stranger's body exept his face. The only attire he wore was bronze colored armor over the top of his body and shoulders. A long spike was on the aromr of each shoulder. His exposed teeth were sharp and uneven and an eyepatch cover the eye facing the snake man. Neither Steele or Razz had ever seen him before.
"He must be from Thundera." Razz whispered, letting her half empty glass float out of her hand.
"Didn't think they had the guts to leave the safety of their home planet. He's luckier than most. No slaver would have the balls to go near him." Steele replied.
He didn't think the lion man heard them. Even if he did Steele feared no one.
As abruptly as they'd turn around the aliens went back to themselves again. Zorvakh could hear a distinct pair male and female voices in the din. He didn't know what they were saying, but it sounded like they were talking in two very different languages. Zorvakh turned to see a long faced green man and a pale woman with black and pink hair.
Steele quickly notice he and his girl had an audience. he, took of his shades and glared back.
"What your problem." Steele said to the lion man.
(You dare to take that tone with me?!)
Steele couldn't believe his eyes. The lion man's eye patch was glowing.

Re: It Was a New Age
Razz muffed a screamed as the stranger hit Steele with some kind of laser beam. She could see he was in great pain as a red glow evoloped him. The lion man said something else in a strange language before turning and leaving.
Steele had no idea what just happened other that he felt like he was on fire.
Back outside Zorvakh saw two more creatures coming towards him. The man had pale blue skin, white hair with two tiny dark blue horns peaking out. The woman had golden hair with black spots and a white face with chesnut marking. They passed without incident. Zorvakh was going to see what else his new home had to offer.
Steele was less thrilled that usual to see Frost, a second moon lunatac or his lover\partner Exotica, a Thundarian cheetah, enter the diner. The red glow had gone away, but he couldn't move without pain.
Frost quietly sat down at the table while Exotica went off to get their usual order. Being able to freeze people with your breath at will gave you the athority to do anything. It took him little time to notice that something was wrong with Steele.
"Knock it off or you'll find some anti-freeze slipped in your next Jovian Sunspot." the snake man growled noticing the snide grin on his aqauntance's face. He instanly regreting each syllable.
Frost simply raised an eyebrow. "Who was that tall Thundarian outside?"

Steele stayed tight lipped this time. Razz was the one to answer. She did want to see Frost torture her man.
"I don't think he was from Thundera."
Before Frost could ask any other questions Exotica's voice could be heard.
"Maybe he was a mutant. Not sure all the ancients left Plun-Darr." she remarked hand off a Jovian Sunpot to Frost.
"Thought bizzare powers were lunatac territory." Razz countered.
"True." Frost answered with a hiss to his voice. He'd released a wisp of ice breath. "What exactly do you mean by 'bizarre powers' anyway?"
"Who ever that thing was he blasted Steele with a laser from his eye patch."
Steele shot an annoyed glance at Razz.
"Sorry. I didn't want to see you go though any more physical pain tonight."

********
Zorvakh's walking took him to an area filled with rows of grey buildings. The all had odd markings, different from the buisiness, on them. This area seemed to deserted-- perhaps abandoned. Cursing the beast man moved on.
There seemed to be nothing else on this rock. That what Zorvakh was thinking until he caught sight of some aliens coming out from behind some rocks. Waiting until they were gone he went to investigate. A hallway was craved into the enormous rock formation behind the smaller ones. It was very simple having only lights adorning the walls. The end revealed a lift like he'd seen in the entraces to the underground tunnels of his homeworld. This one appeared to fe just as much of an antiquity.
Inside were the controls and common sense told Zorvakh which button to press.

Kuri was standing on the landing area just before the elevator, one of his girls on each arm as he kept an eye out on any new potential girls to add to his stable. He was one of the top Pimps of Down below with a rather large 'stable' of girls. He was also one of the few that made sure they kept clean and was well taken care of. Though he was known to turn his back on what went on if he was paid enough.
When the elevator opened he turned and looked the stranger over. With a grin, he hustled the pair over to the fellow. "Welcome to Down Below... Think I can intrest you in a rather.." he chuckled and licked his lips "delicious evening with one of my lovely ladies? I can assure you they are nicely talented as well as clean..."

Again another look another language, but this one seemed friendlier. The tone was almost like when his father's men spoke of females in a particular trade. From the appearace of the alien's girls Zorvakh knew they worked in the same profession. It was odd they were with a man. On Fyrezon the men were only customers. It seemed different here.
(Intersting...) he commented putting a clawed finger under one girl's chin.

Kuri had no idea what the potential customer said but he could tell by the gleam in his one eye and the way he looked over the girl that there was and interest.
"Only 100 limbo bucks an hour... 1000 for the entire night." he purred. "Quite a deal. Double it and you can have both to play with. Triple it and I won't ask questions about any... let's say.. lasting marks." As he spoke he stroked both girl's backs, smiling at one then the other, a hit of fang showing along with a warning claw meaning neither should say a thing to the contrary.

The man was speaking again. It wasn't until he saw him glance at the girls that things became possibly clear. Though he was curious he had no way to pay.
"If money is an issue perhaps a free sample. Candi is one of my newest girls." Kuri contined.
To help indicate what he meant Kuri nudge the girl on his right towards the potential customer.

Re: It Was a New Age
Candi looked the tall beastial male over then glaced at Kuri before looking back at the customer. There was something about the male that gave her a case of unease. It wasn't the look of lust. That she was getting use to already. It was more a case of the primal, feral look that scared her. But she knew that Kuri would take care of her. He took care of all the girls (and a guy or two) in his stable. She'd seen a few that came back pretty well beaten up, but he always took them to see the local doc and got them patched up quickly.
She was broken out of her thoughts by the soft purring growl of warning from Kuri. "Go on Candi, be sure to show him a good time...." the unvoiced 'or else' was left hanging.

Candi took a deep breath and then smiled at the customer.
"Why don't we go somewhere a little more private." she said in a seductive voice.
The girl took his hand and began to lead him off.
*******
Hurt... all over. She was surpriused she could feel. Candi thought she was barly alive. It took all her strength just to get up.
Re: It Was a New Age
Silvia was feeling in a pretty good mood when she came back from Bedlama to fence her latest catch. She decided to stop by Kuri's place and see what all was going on with him at the moment. And maybe even have a good time if he wasn't busy.
'Not like that mattered' she thought to herself with a grin.
They had long since come to the agreement that as long as the door was locked and not bared, she could come and go as she pleased. After all she was a thief of some notarity in the area. When she got to his place, she pretty much just waltzed right in. It didn't take her long to chase his current bed parters off either.
"Whhyyy'd you do that Siilllvia..?" he asked as he yawned and stretched.
"Cause it't time you were up for the day." She replied with a grin.
He just growled softly at her. "So now that you have chased me away from my well deserved repose, what do you want of me?" he asked as he tied the the dressing robe closed.
She grinned as she flopped down on his bed. "Only this..." she tossed a small bag at him.
He fumbled it a moment before he got a good grasp on it. " 'Only this?' Really my dear, you could have waited for me to get up at my normal time." he said in exasperation. "Silvia my dear..."
"Yyeeeessss Kuuurrrri?" she replied in a teasing purr.
"Why don't you go check on Candi for me while I look this over." he said as he sat down at the desk to look the items over more properly. "She had a new customer last night. You do know where she goes right?"
Silvia wrinked her nose at the thought but shrugged. She would much rather steel for a living then do what Kuri's girls did. "ohh, alright" she said grudgingly after a few moments. "And don't think to cheat me right off the bat. I know excatly how much is there as well as the quality." And with that she was out the door.

Re: It Was a New Age
Silvia knew where Candi and other girls went with a customer. That place was a hotel unofficially known as the "Sex Nest". Candi's 'room' was the legendary number 17. It was the site of a bizzare and deadly night of bondage. After that other girls have gotten pretty dinged up in there.
Unlike at Kuri's Silvia decided to knock first. No answer. Upon walking in she found the bed looked as if a hurricane had occured. The sheets were ripped and spots of blood were on what was left. Racked sobs were coming from the bathroom. The Bedlamian woman went investigate and found Candi with an assortment of gashes and bruise slumped in the bath tub.
"It looks like both you and your customer payed last night."

When all was said and done, it took a rather large dose of sedative to calm Candi down enough that she could be patched up and put to bed to sleep, though not alone. One of the other girls agreed to keep an eye on her for a bit.
Once Silvia returned to Kuri's she once again just waltzed in without knocking.
Kuri was still sitting at his desk, a jewlers magnifer in hand as he examined over one of the jems. There were several piles laying about on the black velvet. With dexterous ease he rotated the jem between his claws then set it on one of the piles. His only evidence that he knew she was there was the twitching of his tail and wings.

"Whoever Candi had must have paid you triple the night fee."
"No, she was a free sample. Next time he'll have to pay." Kuri replied keeping on his work.
Sylvia crossed her arms. "He got more than enough for a sample. Poor Candi was histrical and it's been a while since I saw that many scratches on a girl."
"He seemed like the rough type. Almost like an animal. Spoke a strange language that my translator couldn't work out."
***********
Zorvakh stood in a dim alley way. Small aliens curled in sleeping ball by his feet. The alien woman was a different experience from the women of his world. Candi was so fragile and terrified. A beast woman would have loved such an exprerience and left him a few scratches as well.
Looking to his left Zorvakh could see the lights had gotten brighter. He could also smell what could be food cooking. The beast man decided to inspect this possiblity.
Now out the the walkway he saw covered tables. Most were empty except one. It was occupied by a man who resemble a harju. The harju-man gave Zorvakh a suspcious glance. He returned with a glare of his own. Follwing his nose Zorvakh went into what appeared to be another buisiness. A grey being was at the counter handing some kind of currency to a merchant. The man behind the counter spoke as the beast man walked up.
(I have no patience for this nonsense.) Zorvakh growled as he blasted the grey man.
He took his tray of food and walked out of the building amid the quiet frighted awe of the other customers.
Back in the alley way Zorvakh saw some of the small aliens were awake.

At the sight of him they got the others awake and rushed past. This didn't matter to Zorvakh his attention was on the food he stole. Could any of it be harmful to him? There was only one way to find out. The beast man took a bite from a sticky pastry. The sticky sweet covering the ring tasted almost like fresh kayka fruit. The other food wasn't that bad, especially whatever the yellow lumpy stuff was. The drink was a different story. The hot brown liquid tasted horrible.
********
The days passed and Zorvakh lurked in the shadows. Ocasionally he was seen nabbing food. He'd been hearing many lsunguages, but still wasn't sure he picked up anything useful.

It Was a New Age
More time passed and Zorvakh had come to the conclusion that no being here could match his energy. Thus, it was safe to walk in the broad lights of this cave city. Today he saw a familar site-- the winged man who gave him Candi. This time he was with one girl. She was more clothed and seemed to interact more like a mate. After what had happen on Fyrezon Zorvah had no interest in such relationships.

Zilvara was looking around as she walked along beside Kuri, keeping an eye on for 'bauubles' that caught her eye. She knew she could easily steal them but here on Fense she prefered to keep in good graces with the rest of the inhabitints of the place. As she paused to look over the goods one person was offering, someone caught her eye. Someone tall and covered in red and black fur.
"Hey Kuri," she said nudging her companion. "Is that the fellow you let sample Candi?"
Kuri, hmm/purred in thought as he turned to look. "Indeed it is..... I should perhaps speak with the fellow and let him know that if he wishes to play rough.....He will have to pay tripple." his wings rustled as he shifted some, his tail switching back and forth. "Especially if he keeps sending the girls to the doctorrss." His 'R's rolling and his 'S's hissing softly. He only did that when he was not happy about something.
"Don't worry my lovely kitty," Zilvara cooed at him as she reached up and started to scratch behind one ear. "I can warn the other's to charge up front or keep their girls out of his reach."
He started to close his eyes and purr then caught himself. "Don't do that Zil.... At least not here in public."

As Zorvakh was about to pass the winged-man stuck out one of his large wings in his path. The beast man saw the displeased look on his white face. When he spoke Zorvakh could pick up bits and pieces.
Kuri... that may be his name... Limbo bucks... That's what... Does he want payment?
"I fear no one." Zorvakh said in a collection of words alien to him. Then he blasted Kuri.

Zilvara began pounding her fists on one of the beast man's large arms.
"Stop! You can't do that to him!" she screamed.
Zorvakh released his hold on Kuri. As he slumped to the groung his attacker turned his energy on Zilvara. Kuri desperatly tried to get up, wincing as he moved. Forgeting his pain he jumped up, flapped his wings a few times and dove onto the beast man.

Ears laid back, teeth and claws bared he raked razor sharp claws along flesh and bit into it with equally sharp fangs. Nobody was allowed to treat Zil like that and get away with it.
Everyone in the area pulled away from the trio. It didn't take long before some enterprising person started taking bets on who would come out on top. Shouting, cheering and screaming at the battling pair.
Re: It Was a New Age
"20 on the red and black guy." a Down Belower called out.
"15 on GhostWing!" another counted.
Zorvakh gritted his uneven teeth in pain a prepare to fire another blast.
"Not this time!" Kuri yelled as he slammed a hand on that damned eyepatch.
Zorvakh fired anyway and Kuri howled in pain and removed his now very enflamed palm. Taking advantage of the distarction the beast man threw his opponent off and jumped up.
"You aren't worthy of the fight dens of Tyhaar let alone me!" Zorvakh crowed. "Know this, Kuri, I take what I want when I want it."
Kuri half ignored his opponent's taunt as he got to his feet. " Like hell! I own Down Below!"
A few claps a whistles peeled off from the crowd. Kuri grinned at the signs of approval, but Zorvakh raised a hand and motioned for Kuri to attack again.
"Such disrespect!" Kuri snarled as he lunged forward.
He didn't get far before he was blasted again. This time it was a single ball of red light. The mutant\Thunderain stood until he felt his hands moving upwards. He tried to fight the impluse, but to no avail. Soon Kuri's clawed hands were around his neck.
Now do you understand?
You wouldn't dare!
Sqeeze.
Kuri was totally helpless. He gasped resperatly trying to get air into his lungs.
Had enough?
Yes. I want to live.
Very well.
Kuri was released.
