Yeah, we're currently enduring pop up ads, default layout features, slow load times, and a mandatory swear filter. These are among the wonderful punishments EzBoard inflicts on freeloaders (no comments from Darth Caesar! ) who don't pay for their sites.

But, it's only temporary. We currently have $30 in our "Community Chest", which is enough to renew our CSC Gold status here -- which would remove all the ads, and restore all of the other features mentioned above -- for another 6 months. But, Pepper and I recently decided to go for the 12 month plan instead, which is more cost effective at $54, and ensures the price is locked in, and that we won't have to go through all this crap again for another year. We're taking care of this independantly of the public collection we did before (i.e. no more contributions should be needed, if I understand correctly )

Within a few days, the final payments to bring us up to $54 will probably have gone through, and we can "purchase" CSC Gold for one more year. So, as the snotty little artsy-fartsy designer of this site's layout, I certainly feel your pain and then some while we suffer through this intrusive marketing onslaught. But, rest assured... everything will be lookin sharp and slick here very very soon.

And, once again, we'll be free to say things like "@#%$ astronauts, those space @#%$ with all their @#%$ @#%$ Tang @#%$!!!"
