Introduce yourself...
Okay, I know barely anything about some of you, so hopefully this'll help us all to be a bit less confused. Possibly more so, though...
I am a boring American, being very jealous of everyone who lives in England and/or has a British accent. I live in the very cold and all-together dull state of Wisconsin which I would not recommend a visit to unless you are sure you are dying. I read waaay too much and also babysit my three (count 'em, three) annoying, but sometimes adorable, little brothers. Somewhere in the middle of my busy life I also find time (yeah, right) to work and manage a few websites. I also would like to be an Egyptologist.
Ditto on the boring American, jealous of accents. Also from WI (Grim and I are close friends), not a fun place far too much snow, but summers are nice. I have 2 older sisters one who should be here but obviously isn't. Let's see... I'm 17 (yeah senior!!! no more gym class!) I LOVE reading and art (love doing fanart, so you may see some here sometime, I'll have to put up Errol providing he doesn't loose any more toes...) and am currently sick of random fan site with hundreds of members but never have any meaningfull discusions what so ever (random complaint of the day, doesn't have to do with Discworld sites, at least not the ones I've seen). Oh yeah and of course I love animals and have a neurotic dog and a psycho cat and a sweet cudlely cat. I adore my pets, so they may pop up randomly. Wow I'm really getting into the Bio here, I should probably stop.
American and actually living, tragically, in Utah. I'm 18 and a freshman in college, with an extreme obsession for all things pertaining to Discworld (among other things). For those of you familiar with the Redwall series, you'll note I get my screen name from Mossflower. The evil wildcat tyrant. Fwee. ^.^

Re: Introduce yourself...
Oh wow! We got all the exciting states covered almost! Do we have a Wyoming? Anyone?
I just remember this really odd Garfield cartoon about Wyoming and how it really doesn't exist. Well have you actually been to Wyoming? Know anyone who's been there? Exactly.
Yeah, bizare moment of randomness, I know.

I, just to break a trend, am English. I'm 15, sleep far less that I should during the school term and far more than I should in the holidays. I seem to be naturally nocturnal. And apparently I'm smart but I'm still trying to prove them wrong. I have two younger brothers and really can't think of anything interesting to say.
I love to read, I love to write, it's my natural medium.
I have an irritating compulsion to laugh when surrounded with people I at least vaguely know of my own age. I think this is a subconcious rebellion against the tyranny that is school.
I really, really want to travel somewhere that isn't Britain...I'm stagnating! Help!
My mum secretly thinks I'm a manic depressive....dah dah.
Never been to wyoming. There is no Wyoming. Any one like the Matrix?

The Matrix was good!
I don't overly suggest traveling to the US, we're really pretty dull. It depends what you like I guess.
I wanna go to Egpyt... and Italy... and Hawaii (strongly suggest Hawaii for any US travel, The Big Island very pretty and dolphins!) Weee! I'm odd, but I love to travel....
I think I've really lost it now.

Ah. I'll trade you. You can live here and I can live in England for a year or two. Now that would be quite fun.
The states are okay...they're...er- dull I guess. It depends what you want to do and with who. Traveling with my family is NOT fun at all. I, like SPF, would really like to go to Egypt.
I only saw the Matrix once, but I liked it. But I do not particularily like Keanau Reeves or however he spells his stupid name.

I'd gladly trade, I need to travel! Ideally I want to go to Australia...it's warm there!
I have the Matrix DVD, the joy! DVD's rule!
Are you two interested in Egypt for the history aspect?
Re: hehe
Mrs. Grim's probably more into the History than me, but I'm still fascinated by it. I've always wanted to go to Egypt, even before getting hooked on the Peters books.
Austraila would be fun (more cute accents!). So many places to go...
Re: hehe
Well....here's me:
I'm manx[1], have just finnished a maths degree at oxford and am now, not too actively, looking for a job.
that do for now?

I guess we'll have to pry more things out if we want to know something more...We have ways...Okay, maybe not, but it sounded good. Hmmm...want to do my Calc for me? Okay, maybe not, it's pretty easy.
No, I am really really interested in Egyptian History! I would very much like to go into that in college. I am planning on it so far! I guess I am not interested in much besides Egypt! LOL!

*shudders* My enjoyment of maths has forever been ruined because I took my GCSE in it early. Teaching yourself from a text book is decidedly not fun.

I'm Jo - 21 and going into my final year of a degree of History and Ancient History at Exeter Uni (England)

I love reading and writing sci-fi and fantasy
And I am going out of my head with boredom here at home (yay three siblings <sigh>) 26 more days till term starts again!

Hello! Nice to see you here. We always need new voices!
Ooh! Someone who can draw! Hmmm...I, sadly, cannot draw at all, so I might come up with a request.
Oh- I totally know what you mean about the Sirius Black thing! LOL, and thanks for the compliment about the buttons. SPF and I had waaay too much fun making them!
Re: hello hello hello
good lord, i got a reply! what an unprecidented situation!
yes indeed, the buttons are fun.... *trys to think of another amusing caption* .... how about, rinsewind; show him something pointy and he'll run faster than a whippit with a bum full of dynamite.... i was never any good at wit anyway.
Re: hello hello hello
That's cute, but a little long to fit on a button.
*sniff* Grim you sound way too happy to find an artist. Have I been replaced? Actually, that doesn't sound too bad... You should have kept your mouth shut, she'll be bombarding you with requests for the rest of your life

Re: hello hello hello
*Blinks* I am in awe of anyone that can organise a sci-fi convention...I can't organise my bedroom.
Re: hello hello hello
That's understandable. I can (and have) organised every other place in my house, except my own room. Does this make sense in any way? It's impossible to organise your own space. For me, when I clean of my chair, my desk becomes a disaster, when I clean off my desk, I no longer have space on my bed to sleep and when I clean off my bed, my chair becomes un-usable. Then when I get sick of this whole evil circle, I shove everything into my closet and post some avalanch warning signs on the doors.
I'm very susprised I managed to oragnise a site like this, of course I have Grim keeping me in line but still....
Ah ha! My bookshelf is organised! At least the books on it are, the art supplies, not so much. I knew I could think of something!

I do NOT bombard with requests for drawings! Okay, so maybe I do...
I can't help it!!! I can't draw! AND, I've seen a drawing of mayberry's. SHE can draw people, SPF! Ha! LOL, well you're getting there...
