Inner peace
Tealia stood twenty metres from the captives pen, cloaked in the shadows. She'd been watching their treatment for sometime now and she was horrified. They were just children and they were being treated like the enemy. To be completely honest none of them posed any threat at all, she could dispatch them all with a simple flick of her wrist. What they were doing was nothing less than barbaric.

It was unusual for Tealia to feel so strongly about something, and even more unusual that she would even contemplate disobeying those in direct charge. But something was on fire inside of her and she couldn't sit down and watch the poor children faint due to lack of food and excruciating labor, and then be forced to duel one another.

She stepped back further into the darkness, making sure she was invisible to all on lookers, and began to sing. It was a charm she'd learnt on the dark side. By focusing on those who you didn't want to see you and singing in a certain key, you could disrupt there inner sight and you would be able to walk right past them, in effect, invisible. However it only worked slightly on Telepathists, they would hear the singing but still be unable to see the person projecting it. She focused on the captors, and stepped out of the shadows singing softly. She glided over to the captives pen.

Tealia was young for the darkside, she'd been turned just out of school, and had since been working her way up the ranks. Her fiery red hair billowed out behind her following the path of her black cloak.

She reached the pen and looked behind her, making sure that no one was suspicious. She leant over and looked at the children, her intense green eyes gazing upon them with both kindness and sadness. She made contact with a small boy, and handed him a couple of slices of bread.

"Share them," she nodded as she sang the words, her voice sweet and soft. She knew that once she'd stop singing she had thirty seconds before she'd be visible but she figured it best to just continue.

They looked so defenseless, they reminded her of her niece who also went to the Hogwarts. Maybe that was part of the reason she felt so awful. She couldn't imagine putting her niece through the torment these children had been through.

Re: Inner peace
((Ok, I am fully aware that Wren is a , but she has been mistaken for a boy before, and well...None of the boys are posting... I asume this takes place someplace between Aldon's incident and the time lapse, Im not sure howver if this is before or after the dueliing pen, after I think, since it seems to follow the constructoin of the first pen quite shortly, somone correct me if I'm wrong.))

*Wren looked up at Tealia, from where she'd been sitting alone by a wall, knees pulled up under her chin drawing pictures in the dirt with her finger. She took the bread, and standing up, she unzipped her jumpsuit halfway, alowing her to hide the bread between it and her turtleneck underneath. It was then apparent, as her turtleneck fit tighter than her jumpsuite, and her knees were no longer in the way, that she was not a boy, as Tealia had thought. She was instead, a short haired, small chested g.ir.l, almost 14 years old. She looked young for her age, and even younger if you believed she was a boy, as is often the case when s are confused for boys. She eyed Tealia sucpicoisly.*

"What's in it?" she asked, fearing this was a Trojan horse.

((and in this time peroid, the siggey would still be: "Bravery is not the absence of fear; bravery is being scared sh8tless and still doing what needs to be done" ~anonymus yeah, it's paraphrased.))
