We at ezboard are constantly concerned about the security of our users and communities. Recently we have discovered some areas of our security systems that are not as strong as we believe they should be. In response we have made, and are continuing to make, upgrades to our internal security systems and practices. We are also asking that our users take full advantage of the security features we currently provide.
For your security, we will be doing a global reset for all secret questions and answers. The next time you visit your Control Center, you will see a screen to select a Secret Question and Answer -- we strongly encourage you to do so, and to select a question you have not used previously. In addition, we strongly encourage every user to change his/her password at this time, and to do so regularly. We also recommend that you Enable High Security (in your Account Preferences). Finally, we would encourage all users to log out after each session, especially those of you who choose not to use our High Security option. The combination of High Security, a new Secret Question and Answer, a new and regularly changed password, and logging out after sessions offer you the best security we can provide on the network.
Our ongoing system improvements, combined with the vigilance of our users and communities, will help to make the ezboard network a safe and enjoyable environment.
NOTE: All users have been logged out -- logging in will activate the new security system.
