Thanks for posting your info Hope you have a great response and turnout
Does your organization have any rules about competing in other ones, eg..wnso or opa? And for the figue...do these shows require a routine or 1/4 turns only?
For everyone...this is a great organization that promotes drug free fitness, figure and bodybuilding!!

We do not restrict anyone from competing in our organization. All athletes are welcome! We do 1/4 turns only at the prejudging. However at the night show we do have a figure walk which is pretty standard in Figure Competitions. Check out our site www.canadian-classic.com under 'rules and regulations' for a detailed description.

Thanks Shaun glad to have you on the forum..keep us all updated on the status and progress of your shows
I checked out the site and was quite intrigued by the figure portion..its quite different that the OPA (which i'm used to). Just to confirm , the girls only wear one suit? And is this suit the same for the day and night show? Do you find the bodybuilding or fitness/figure is more popular?
Re: Toronto Classic on June 3, 2006
Thanks for inviting me on here. I will keep you posted on all the latest. I can tell you that we are giving out LOTS of prizes and awards. EAS Canada (Gold Sponsor), Passion Fruit Designs, LeanBodyRx (Bronze Sponsor), Precision Sport Supplements are all giving out prizes to our winners. Plus we are awarding 4 IDFA Pro Cards, best poser trophies, sculptured trophies, goodies bags to all competitors, Toronto Classic Tees, etc. I will be adding all this info on the site within a couple days. I will let you know when it is up.
We would love to have you compete with us. We do have an IDFA Pro Card up for grabs.... ; ) We will be having Pro Divisions begining in 2007.
I think the figure portion is similar to the OPA as far as 1/4 turns. You only need one suit (a 2 piece) but you can wear a different suit at the night show if you wish. But it is not required.
Right now we are getting a much bigger response in figure than bodybuilding.

Thanks for posting...its always great to have the different organizations and info available for the competitors Sometimes it gets soo confusing and the competitors just don't know where to start--and thats why we are all here to help
Good luck Shaun I'm sure the IDFA is going to be huge in the future
