Ok, here's a question for you...do you have a tier system in place for the IDFA..say a competitor wins the class can he or she keep competing until they earn or are awarded a pro card? Is your organization recognized world wide or just in Canada?
Re: IDFA Canadian Classic II on November 4, 2006
Great Question. There is no tier system per say. We have novice, open and masters divisions.
Novice - you have not placed top 3 in our, IDFA, novice or top 3 in an open division in another organization.
Open - you have placed top 3 in our, IDFA, novice or have place top 3 in an open division in another organization.
The top of our organization is obviously going Pro. We will be having an IDFA Pro Show in 2007. Date to be announced.
We are based in Toronto Canada and draw a North American athlete turnout. Our last years Pro Card winner, Wil Usher, is from Washington DC. About 33% of our competitors are from the US. So, in essence, we are a North American recognized organization. We will be expanding our show line-up year to year and adding Pro Shows.
We are all about the athletes and will get them the exposure they deserve.
