I thought I would add to the creativity over here.......
Hey all. I thought I would go and bite the bullet *geez I hope I don't get assasinated for this* ... and post up a poem that was published in my schools poem/writing book last year.. Let me know if you like it, but if you don't I'd rather not know..
Lies and butterflies spoke gently through your eyes.
Kiss a tear, make it go away. I don't want to see you today.
Lost your soul and came to me, looking for a way to flee.
Hear you speak, close my eyes. I see little lies and butterflies.
Saw a man the other day who doesn't care and looks the other way.
I don't mind, take your time, though I know you'll never be mine.
Take your face, look the other direction.
You don't fit my expectation.
Your mouth's a black hole cave, you rant and rave, but I don't believe.
In your smile and in your eyes, I see little lies and butterflies.
Neither one means much to me.
Because that's how you'll always be.
