I dont know what to do
Hi everyone
I have a 3 month old Lamancha doe. About one and a half weeks ago she started getting these symptoms. She hangs her head low and at times acts somewhat blind. She walks around very little even though she still eats. She can stand up but she is very weak so if u try to move her or anything like that she falls down. For 4 days we gave her 1 cc of penicillin but that didnt do anything. I also gave her 1 cc of Bo-sec which is selenium today. I'm not sure if that will result in any improvement though. Any suggestions on what I should do would be useful and greatly appreciated.

thanks for tryin to help but i guess its too late-she died yesterday. she was so weak she couldnt even get up. we talked to a friend about it and now we think that she might have gotten west nile. All of her symptoms matched up with those of west nile.

I'm really sorry. I lost one of my pet goats too because she got a bacterial infection from mosquitoes. She had the same symptoms. Weakness, fever, etc. She got so we had to carry her into the barn. It only took one day for her to go from healthy to dead
