Well, as some of the regulars of COWD who also frequent you vile bastards know, I have started an affiliation program. Basically, I'm just seeking other boards that I like, who are on my EZRing, and the subjects of which don't completely overlap with COWD to participate in a more linked union. Now before you guys get all hot and bothered thinking about a union with me, let me explain it a bit better. All it would entail is a "forum" style link on the main page of the board here. I would put a link to DSOTM on the same style of link at COWD. It's just a more prominent connection option than our current Ring or links page. Would you two crazies be interested? Just let me know

Hey GK. Thank you for the offer, but Pepper and I respectfully decline. It's certainly not an issue of us getting "hot and bothered" about this kind of link exchange with COWD, but rather a simple design and layout issue for this site; To say that we're "anal" about DSotM's look and functionality would be the understatement of the year.
I can see exactly where you're coming from on this idea, and it makes perfect sense for your site, since yours is primarily topic-driven. But, we aren't. Pepper and I both agreed that an off-site link within our forums listing would be out-of-place here. We've always thought of DSotM as just one community forum that just happens to be split up into smaller parts for convenience (you can't imagine how long we agonized over the possibility and details of splitting up Yak and Bull).
So, thank you again for the offer. And, I hope it works out for you and others who participate.
