Info on your character!
Name: Hugh Cobald
Gender: Male
Age/year group: 17 - 6th year student (if my maths is correct)
Position: Student - mostly when he can be motivated
Appearance: Silky dark brown hair that curls nicely, dark chocolate brown eyes, relatively muscular, but more lithe, his skin is nicely bronzed. He is taller than the most 17 year olds and likes people to remember it. Pretty much the most gorgeous guy anyone at this school has ever or will ever meet (or so he believes anyway). Often his good looks are spoilt by his haughty appearance and need to wear a berret so everyone can see he is an artist, not merely a human. Has a fettish for wearing dark clothes which are always tailored for him specifically.
Background: Originally a model for magazines, newspapers, adds, etc. pretty much anything that makes his already rich family more rich and more spoilt. It is vital to note he considers modelling an art form (hence the berret) and takes violent action when ever everyone dares to make fun of modelling, a model or a career in this field. After his family had a little run in with the Magical papparazzi in a rather suspicious back alley they had to recuperate quickly with lots of good publicity such as having their young son go to the esteemed (at least somewhat esteemed) Hogwarts school of the Brave and the Ignorant where he was to became a grand wizard which all would respect and fear and right the families rather dubious past.
His father Herman Cobald is in the Filming industry and is one of the founders of the invention of the camera that provides moving pictures so common to the Wizarding world, this earned him long term respect and due to a clever patent and copyright laws a lot of cash. Needless to say he of course took this money and being a rather shrewd chap invested it all into the new up and coming franchise Misery World, which is sort of like Disney World only rather more miserable and magical of course. This idea soon took off as many wizards and witches used this as a way to punish bad children, to correct manners and to generally see their children upset. He took the money from this and invested it into various other areas so he could get even more rich. To this day Herman is a well respected business tycoon and despite the way his own child turned out is the very mould to which every parent aspires.
Hugh's mother Clarice Cobald was a supermodel for most of her life and married Hugh's dad mostly for money (as the rich often seem to do) and enraged that she got pregnant, therefore her looks were ruined, she determined to let her son carry on her very successful enterprise so that she could have a healthy retirement fund. She brought Hugh up to be the perfect male model, meaning he often had to lay sprawled out on beds of flowers, do anaerobic exercise (not a very easy thing to do I tell you), do aquajogging, run round the house chasing little white rabbits and also there was the ever hateful manicures and consultations with hairdressers
So mostly Hugh's life was spent modelling and becoming more vain and stuck up by the second interrupted by periods of pampering and gushing bestowed on him by his mother and visits from his father during which he mostly had money thrown at him.
From an obscure relative at one point in his life he learned how to sew, and it is one of his greatest talents (although a well kept secret).
Personality: Incredibly vain, with a quick temper whenever anyone dares to criticise his immaculate and in fashion outfits. Also impossibly rude to those who aren't dressed properly (according to him). Has a weird habit of staring into reflective objects as he passes them to adjust his hair, clothing or any other part of body that needs working on. He generally strides along with confidence seeming to reflect his courage, but which he actually has none of (the courage I mean). Loves decorating anything. Absolutely hates to lose ever!!! He must win at all costs, can never lose an argument and will persist with one until the other person admits they were wrong (although in most cases they were right).
Skills and Likes: As I mentioned earlier is an expert seamstress, good at being snotty, snobby and vain. Good at intimidating others. Relatively good at his decorating. Very good at catching fish in rivers with his bare hands and good at stealing, cheating and lying. He likes all of the above, because he is good at them and also likes the idea of world domination by means of a multimillion dollar fashion industry.
Weaknesses and Dislikes: Very vain etc. Can't give up a fight, often hazardous to his health. Falls in love with every pretty girl he sees, and some ugly ones with lots of money. Is a sucker for any money making scheme whether bad or false and will always do what his mum tells him to. He strongly dislikes his father, although he is rather partial to his father's money.
Pet(s): A small black bat called Igor that hides under his cloak and often flies around carrying out varying tasks for Hugh, he mistreats it rather badly sometimes, but for an obscure reason it still seems to love him.

House: Slimey Things (I guess I can say this because I was sorted into Slimey Things before the great crash)
